"My husband and I visited on 8/28-9/2/2024. Pete and family were so welcoming and kind. They were up for the Labor Day weekend next door.The home has 3 bedrooms top floor, (King, double and bunk room w/ 2 double bottom bunk beds w/single top beds), 1 bath (with bathtub, shower, double sinks), living room w/ large smart tv, (this is the1 steaming tv in home), full kitchen, table for 4, washer/dryer on main floor. HUGE deck off kitchen w/tons of seating overlooking an amazing view of Lake Ogemaw...

"This cottage is perfect. Very creative, comfortable, bohemian decoration throughout; well furnished; fabulous views; great location; nice beach and kayaks for use; close to small town; very helpful and communicative host. If you are looking for luxury, this is not your place. If you want a comfortable, fun lake getaway, you couldn't ask for a better place. Thanks, Martha!"

"Our stay was very comfortable. The cabin has a modern decor and updated interior. We had great conversations around the campfire with others staying on the property. Nicely situated between East Tawas and Oscoda for easy access to the area's many attractions. The only drawback was the lack of a thorough job by the cleaning crew. We made no contact with the Guest Contact/Property Manager. - reason for the 1 star."
