"The Reservoir View properties are all luxurious, beautifully styled and very comfortable, with all essential items provided. The Welcome Box contained lots of treats. A fabulous place for a short break. Communication with Sally, the owner, was excellent. The view over the reservoir is lovely and the walk into Pateley Bridge is great (though walking shoes are needed as it can get muddy)."

"Honestly one of the best places I’ve stayed in. We wanted a simple cottage that accommodates a dog & was quiet and relaxing. Swallow Cottage is unbelievable! The cottage itself is so warm & cosy, the hospitality was incredible & there’s even a dog paddock section at the rear for the dog to run around in. The host is absolutely lovely & you can tell a lot of care & attention has gone into this cottage. The location of the cottage is roughly 20 mins from Harrogate & 20 mins from Knaresborough....

"Short trip to Durham City, 30 minutes away. The hotel and grounds are lovely to look at from a distance but internally a little tired. Our junior suite very comfortable and roomy. Very comfortable bed. Updated bathroom. Pity the room had instant coffee rather than a coffee machine or coffee bags given that it claims to be 4*. Good food and lovely staff throughout. "

"It was an amazing stay, staff lovely and helpful, food was great in restaurant, rooms were really nice too, only negative would be bathroom! Tiles broken on floor where toilet is and window need a blind or curtain as tge frosted stickers are peeling off and people can see into bathroom! However this did not take away from an amazing stay. Anyone using pool should probably be made aware pre visit that you need a padlock for lockers also."
