Pontoon Included - Newly built Lake Home on Woman Lake

Fishing, Boating, Snowmobiling, Ice Fishing, Or Just Relaxing

Truly an "up north" home located on Bungy Bay (Woman Lake), part of the beautiful pristine waters of the 5500 acre Woman Lake chain. Noted for great fishing, boating and family fun on the water. You will fall in love with its welcoming entry way with a large "log bench" to hold all your beach toys, gear bags and whatever bags you might bring. Large fully equipped kitchen with a beautiful pine table that seats 14 for family meal time. Comfortable living room with a gas burning fireplace, big screen Smart TV with WiFi - also a main level bathroom with walk-in shower. You will spend most of your time in the beautiful front deck, with couches, chairs and beautiful lake views (lake is less than 50' from home). Custom made for relaxing, listening to the loons calling, happy hours, curling up with a good book or taking an afternoon nap. From the front you have access to an outside wrap around deck for sunbathing or taking in the views. The lake yard has a fire pit area with chairs overlooking Bungy Bay.

Upper level has 3 bedrooms, 2 with queen beds and 1 with a king bed - each with closets and 2 overlooking the lake. Family room has been converted to a bunk room with 2 sets of queen bunks. A children's play area with Smart TV, and games - plenty of fun for that rainy day. Upper level has 2 full baths with tub (1)/ walk in shower(1).

You will have access to our 12 person pontoon, or canoe for hours of fun on the lake and 2 kayaks. Lake shore has a hard bottom for swimming and water games / swim raft is included as well. Cruising the lake you can see bald eagles nestled in the towering white and red pines or a pair of loons nurturing their babies on their backs. Longville is accessible by boat with city docks or by car, 8 miles away. Noted for the famous Turtle races and children's games every Wed afternoon. shopping, dining and of course Frosty's for ice cream or pizza.

This home on the lake is your perfect family "up north" vacation destination, only 3 hours north of Minneapolis/St Paul.

Great
We had a great time. Everything was wonderful. Lots of room. Very clean. Beds were comfy. Gathering around the kitchen island was fun. Enjoyed the deck, firepit, & pontoon. We had beautiful weather. Would rent this again. Thank you very much Dan.

Beautiful secluded lake home with pontoon
House was very nice, large kitchen and eating area, had everything we needed. Nice living room and deck overlooking the lake. The bedrooms very a good size, and the bunk area is large. Furnishings were very nice and it was clean. Fireplace was nice on a cold rainy day. Loved having the pontoon. The house is secluded and offers good privacy for that get away vacation. Owner was very responsive when we needed to know how to operate the fireplace. Drawbacks would be that swim deck was full of birds and the weeds were at the shore (maybe due to it being September) & the walk down to the lake is somewhat steep.

Fun week on Woman Lake
This was our third stay at this cabin. It is a great setup for a larger group ( we had up to 8 adults some nites) with everyone being able to find room to spread out & relax! We loved having the pontoon, paddle boards, and kayaks and used them daily. The kitchen is well stocked & a joy to cook in. All in all a relaxing, wonderful week! Thank you Dan for sharing this cabin with us.

Perfect Lake Home
My family just spent a week at this beautiful lake home. We appreciated the choices that were made decorating the home with the kitchen table being the centerpiece. Time spent together on the pontoon and at the fire pit were favorites. Not sure where you put the mosquitos while we were there, but they were not a problem for us! The home had everything we needed and it was a quiet location with not a lot of traffic on the lake. Thanks for everything!

Beautiful cabin on beautiful lake
We stayed at the cabin for a week, 5 adults and 3 kids. Loved everything about it. The beds were comfy, and the cabin is bigger inside than the pictures portray. Very few mosquitos and we enjoyed a campfire almost everyday. The included pontoon was such a great perk! Took it out most days for fishing and swimming. Would definitely recommend this cabin! The owner was easy to reach, although we never had any issues to report. Everything worked great.

Summer Vacation
Another wonderful vacation in the Longville area! We stayed in one Dan's other properties on Girl Lake a couple of years ago and loved it but wanted to try this larger house on Woman Lake. We had such a great time and appreciated Dan's attention on a couple of questions we had during our stay. We loved being able to use the pontoon boat, kayaks, stand up paddle board, and canoe. The kids swam out to the floating dock several times each day, fished in various locations, and relaxed in the awesome bunk area! We went to Longville on Wednesday for the turtle races, and the kids won a few free ice cream scoops from Frosty's for their participation in games and dances. One day we took a short trip to Itasca State Park and walked across the Mississippi River and climbed a tower too. We love this area of Minnesota and hope to visit again!

Great week at the lake!
Wonderful week vacation with family! Dan was great to work with and answered my questions promptly. The house was equipped with everything we needed. Most of our time was spent on the pontoon exploring and fishing on Woman Lake.

Wonderful Retreat
This was the perfect place for our annual ladies weekend. The house is perfectly appointed. We enjoyed the windows overlooking the lake for watching the sunset. The long table in the kitchen was perfect for a puzzle and spreading out knitting projects.

Exactly what we needed
This is a great property for large groups but it was also exactly what my husband and I needed for a 4-day anniversary getaway. The house has an open feel, with three closed off bedrooms (that share two bathrooms with each other and two double bunkbed areas). For the two of us, it had everything we needed and more. The pontoon and the weather were the biggest blessings. It was awesome to get out on the BEAUTIFUL Woman Lake anytime we wanted. Check-in and check-out was easy and the owner was super responsive when we had questions! Highly recommend!

Relaxing Getaway!
This was our second year at this wonderful cabin on Woman Lake. We loved using the pontoon every day and hanging out by the water. The home has everything one might need including a very well stocked kitchen which is a joy to prepare food in. Ample space for our group of 6 to spread out. Dan was very responsive and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great week. He even got us a couple of kayaks to use when my sister thought they were included with the cabin on the website (they were not). Anyway, much thanks Dan ( and your father) for sharing your cabin and being so accommodating and kind. We hope to be back next year!

Amazing!
This home was spectacular! I appreciated the availability of the washer and dryer. Air conditioning kept the house comfortable during the 90° heat and humidity. Kitchen was well stocked with bowls, cutlery, etc. Dishwasher was a real bonus. We had plenty of room for our group, plus some. Pictures are accurate of the rooms and amenities. Dan very willingly answered the few questions we did have. Book your reservation today, you will not be disappointed!!!!!

Up north getaway
3 sisters and a brother plus spouses wanted to get away and relax on a lake up north to beat the heat and humidity. Boy did we hit the jackpot. The weather was great as was the property. It was as advertised. The pontoon boat was the clincher. The only thing that would have made it better is for the fish to be biting. Oh well I guess that's why they call it fishing and not catching.. The property manager was easy to contact and very responsive. We would do it again.

Family Vacation
Beautiful home located right on the lake. Loved having the pontoon as an option. Very remote. The place was everything we could’ve asked for. My only complaint is mesquites hatched during our stay, which made enjoying the outdoors at the property impossible. I was told they do spray so I’m sure it was just our timing.

Great Family Get Away
We had a great stay at this property for our annual siblings fishing trip. There was plenty of room for everyone and the kitchen was well stocked. We especially loved using the pontoon. That was a real bonus. We enjoyed lots of time on the lake together. The mosquitoes were very bad because of the wet sprin,but that’s just Minnesota

The Perfect Retreat
There were 6 of us staying for the weekend. The cabin was perfect in every way. Before we arrived, we had last minute questions and the owner was incredibly helpful. The cabin is gorgeous and ideally designed. There is plenty of room and the open floor plan allows gathering together and spreading apart. The is a wonderful tub upstairs that is perfect for bubble baths. The bunk beds are huge and all the beds are super comfortable. We had wonderful conversations and many many laughs around the giant table. There is plenty of room for a puzzle, various knitting projects, and sharing meals. We are 100% in agreement that we want to come back next year for our annual winter ladies weekend.

Perfect Peaceful Getaway
We booked this place for our 20th anniversary and while the house was bigger than 2 people needed it was a beautiful place to stay. The location made it the perfect place to get away from everything. If you want a vacation that is peaceful, relaxing and you leave feeling refreshed this is the place to rent. Although it was kind of off season we were perfectly happy to not have to encounter many other people even if we did go out and about. We fished right off the dock and could barely get the line in without having a fish on. There is a fantastic movie theater within a few miles if you want something to do away from the house. Tons of cute stores in Walker to browse through. Having trouble deciding if the sunsets on the lake or listening to the wind in the trees was my favorite part of this vacation.

Great property with super lake access and seclusion
Everything went well from beginning to end. The pictures were accurate (although the property seemed much more spacious than the pictures depicted), the furniture was comfortable, the kitchen was well-stocked for cooking, and the beds were were nice. The access to the lake was with on-site pontoon boat was great. We went out on the lake most of the days during our stay. We did not visit during the best fishing, but caught up enough for a lunch on the second day. The host was easy to reach and very helpful. We would stay here again and recommend it to our friends.

Accommodations top notch. No ones fault fishing and weather weren’t up to par. We had a fun time despite it. Kids didn’t swim tho...weeds turned them off. Highly recommend for adults.
