Beautiful, new house on Lake Guntersville!

Sail, fish, ski or do nothing but relax on "The Cottage's" spacious deck overlooking Lake Guntersville. The Cottage is located at North Alabama Sailing Marina and is new throughout the two bedroom two bath 1200 square foot home. Large picture windows offer a million dollar view of the lake.
Bring your own boat, sail or motor, and launch from our private ramp and have parking for the vehicle and trailer adjacent to the Cottage. Slip space is provided throughout your stay. Walk out in the morning with a cup of coffee and get on your boat ready for the day. A charcoal grill and lakeside fire pit are provided for evening entertaining. Enjoy downtown Guntersville antique shopping, local music and casual dining within a short three mile drive or enjoy a day reading on the deck overlooking Lake Guntersville.
The house has all the amenities of home. It comes with a large front loading washer and dryer, and the kitchen has a full size electric stove, microwave and refrigerator. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, cookware, utensils, and all the essentials to prepare a meal. The dining room has seating for six.
Gather in the large living room and sink in the comfy leather sofa and enjoy the view of beautiful Lake Guntersville. Watch movies on the large flat screen TV or venture out on the deck for dinner and drinks and while away the evening.
There are two spacious bedrooms. The master has a beautiful antique king bed and in-suite bath. The second bedroom has single twin and twin bunk beds with an adjacent full bath.
The Cottage comfortably accommodates five guests.
Linens for the bath and bedrooms are provided.
Groceries, restaurants, gas and bait are available within a mile. "Fire by the Lake" restaurant and bar is within walking distance and "Char Burger", a local favorite, is within a quarter of a mile.
Once you get here you won't want to leave!

Always great at The Cottage!!
We absolutely LOVE The Cottage. We stay here at least once a year and it is the only place we go that I’m sad to leave. I love my own home and this is as close as you could get. The Cottage is cozy, clean, comfortable, and well appointed. The view is beautiful! My husband loves being able to launch the boat at the marina and we also love Fire on the Lake. Will be coming back soon and we highly recommend. 10/10

Fishing tournament
Great place to stay for a fishing tournament. WIFI was not working but wasn’t a big deal because I used my phone to stream to the tv. I didn’t utilize the slip because I wasn’t sure where it was exactly so detailed description on that would be helpful. I’ll be back if I fish the tournament again next year.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lake Guntersville. The house was very clean and well appointed. We loved the deck and the view of all of the sailboats. We will be back!

The Best!
We always enjoy our getaways at Guntersville and love this property. The owners are amazing and super helpful. The sailboat marina is beautiful and so peaceful. We always feel safe and comfortable when we stay here. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

Great Lakefront Cabin!
My brothers and I hadn't seen each other in years, so we booked this cabin to spend a couple days away from spouses, children, etc. We had a great time catching up and this cabin was the perfect place. The cabin hosts (Susan and T) were very kind and very responsive when we reached out with a question/minor issue. I would definitely rent this cabin again in a heartbeat!

Amazing stay
We loved our stay ! We truly loved your home! We came in to visit with family and enjoy the fire works for the 4th of July! We had the best spot to view the fireworks ! Thank yall for allowing us to stay in your home ! We will love to stay again when we coming back to town !

This our second time visiting the area and our second stay at Susan and Thurson property. The property just like the other is awesome. Very welcoming, clean, well stocked and comfortable. Susan and Thurson are outstanding hosts! We can’t wait to return.

Great little getaway in a great location!
Wonderful little lake house located in a ver convenient location. 5 minutes to 2 boat ramps down river or just a quick 15 minute drive to waterfront. Less than 10 minutes to City Harbor. Clean, plenty of space, and located right in the water. We will be back!

Fishing Trip
Property was great for our weekend fishing trip. View of the sailboats from inside the house was picturesque. Distance to food and entertainment was very close. If you have a larger boat you may want to use the boat ramp across the highway from the property rather than the ramp at the property. Great location and very comfortable play to stay for a weekend getaway.

!!NICE!!
We had an absolutely wonderful time! The views of the sunrise and sunset from the cottage were beautiful! Waking distance to a local dinner spot which was very good food! Boat ramp was also very close and easy access! Cottage was extremely clean and the beds were comfortable! Communication with Susan and T was excellent!!!!! We will be visiting again that’s for sure!

The Cottage is Amazing!
This is our second stay at The Cottage. We were there the entire week of Thanksgiving and loved it just as much, if not more, than we did the first time we stayed there. The bed is so comfy, the kitchen is well equipped, and the bathrooms are great. The kitchen had everything I needed to make our Thanksgiving dinner. My husband is a fisherman, so it is also very convenient to have a washer and dryer. One of my favorite things to do is sit on the deck and watch the birds and gaze at the water. This time there were also Christmas lights on several of the sailboats and it was beautiful at night. We will definitely be going back to our “home away from home”.
