Really nice getaway
Family weekend in the snow! We live in Texas but made the trip up to find some snow this spring. Big yard allowed the kids to play as much as they wanted. The beds were really comfy, kids loved the bunk room. Kitchen was well equipped for cooking. Overall a very nice house in a convenient location to Gunnison, Almont, and CB. Would stay again for sure.

Mountain-rustic home with everything you need. Beautiful views of the Gunnison River and only 2 miles from Gunnison. We were in town for a Western Colorado homecoming reunion so worked great to connect with old friends. Would definitely recommend this place!

Quiet, beautiful, high quality home. The best place we have been to in the Gunnison area. Close to everything but in a super quiet neighborhood. Our second stay here and we’re coming back!

Loved this place!
We recently stayed at a VRBO in Gunnison, CO and it was a fantastic experience! The property was clean, and comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. The VRBO was in a great location, close to all the attractions we wanted to see, yet still felt secluded enough to enjoy peace and quiet. The views from the property were breathtaking, and we enjoyed watching the sunset over the mountains and listening to the river each evening. The host was fantastic and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. We highly recommend this VRBO to anyone looking for a beautiful vacation in Gunnison, CO!

Absolutely amazing home away from home
The main reason for our trip to Gunnison was a hunting tag but it turned out to be so much more than that! Everyone, from our 2 year old and up, loved the house, loved the area and had such an amazing time! The host was on top of everything and very efficient. The house is so beautiful and sits gorgeously on the creek. I would recommend this house to anyone going to the area.

Incredible home
Absolutely incredible home on the river made our family stay comfortable and relaxing. The place is custom built and super nice. Huge yard and deck area with plenty of room to hang with family. The owner is very responsive if you have questions or ask for anything. We’ll be back!

Perfect long weekend
We had two families with 4 kids staying here for a long weekend. The kids loved the bunk beds. The location and river and home are all beautiful! Because the river was high and fast moving we kept the kids away from the water- but that might be different at different points in the year. We enjoyed the fire pit while we were here as well. We will definitely be back!

The property was just outside of Gunnison on the river. The fire ring and the river made this place great! The house was well furnished and the heated floors were amazing. Highly recommend!

Wow! Beautiful place.
My husband, son and I enjoyed our stay. A beautiful place right on the stream. It is in a neighborhood, but still feels remote. Nate and Mojo (the lab) were great hosts-Very attentive but unobtrusive. Well equipped kitchen. The place was spotless. Hopefully we can stay again soon.

Beautiful Property
This is a gorgeous house set in beautiful surroundings. The owner was so helpful and gracious. The house was immaculate and had everything one could possibly need. Perfect location for day trips to Gunnison, Crested Butte, Kebler Pass, Blue Mesa and Salida. We enjoyed hiking, boating and swimming, raft rapid rides and renting side by sides to explore. Great Italian restaurant 5 minutes from the house called Garlic Mikes - would highly recommend. This was a wonderful vacation for my family and I.

Peaceful, Beautiful, & Joyful
The house and the property offer a peaceful place to truly relax with the sound of the river and the birds. Nate has done an incredible job with this property with significant attention to detail. We asked him about finishes since we are considering a remodel in our home. He went above and beyond to add another unplanned night to our stay with the construction and closure of US 50. While sitting by the fire one evening, a deer stopped by for a drink in the river and walked right past us. My daughter is still talking about how special that moment was for her. I would highly recommend this beautiful home and property, especially since Nate puts his heart into taking care of his guests. Thank you for a joyful visit to Gunnison!
