Great start! Unfortunately, poor access to hot water, a dis-jointed kitchen with only a microwave/hot plate and kettle with sink in another room and poor quality mattress/pillows ….all situated next to the wafting smells of the cattle yard. A great possibility but it needs more work to be a quality...

"Our stay in Magherafelt was lovely in every way. From the moment we arrived we felt very welcomed. Our hosts, Siobhan and John, were simply wonderful. "My wife and I loved this place called the "west wing" (it was literally the wing of the main house occupied by our hosts.) It was charming, spacious, clean, and equipped with all one could want for a self-catering accommodation. The grounds were amazing, full of flowers, vegetable patches green house, and the list goes on. Our hosts were so nice as they helped us figure out how to run the washer/dryer (that they had never used themselves). Top notch in every way. "

"Great home, perfect location, everything we needed and above all the best host imaginable! Josie went out of her way to welcome us and prepare for us. We had arrived just days after storm Eowyn when much of the country was without power. She secured back up lodging for us just in case the power didn't return. "We had a great stayGreat communication from the tennant and no visits or problems. But always in contact if needed via What's App or email.Cottage was cosy, clean and the heating was very good which was good as it was snowing outside.Went to cook steaks and the frying pan was very small but we improvised and got our dinner cooked.Just remember they don't leave Milk, butter etc but they did make this clear to us. We just forgot Key pad worked perfect for arriving and leaving.Hot tub was clean...

"I stayed at Adrian and Lorna's lovely apartment on their property for nearly 2 weeks. It was an absolute pleasure. They were incredibly welcoming to me when I arrived and checked in with me frequently to make sure I had everything I needed. I felt very welcome and looked after by them. I would highly recommend staying with them if you're looking for a quiet, rural and peaceful location to relax. I hope some day to return to stay with them again."
