Sand Dollar #15 is a brand new rental. It has not been rented for over 13 years and begins March 2024. A complete major renovation was completed in 2022 making this a real jewel. You will love the convenience of our location in Gulf Shores. Everything is close by.
The space
You have looked forward to your annual vacation or a quick getaway from the grind. If you have opened up the site for this condo then we really appreciate it. It used to be that Gulf Shores was one of those hidden secrets but once travelers saw our beautiful beaches along with Alabama hospitality the secret was out. When you have so many destinations to choose from and then choosing a place to stay after you have decided where you want to go can be daunting. Our hope and desire is you will see this Sand Dollar condo and know this is the exact place to choose.

The owners of the condo live close by in Mobile. They have owned it since 2010 but decided to rent beginning in 2024. The condo began a total and complete renovation in 2021 and 2022. It has been transformed into such a lovely and inviting place. I am excited to be representing the owners and managing this beautiful condo for them. The pictures portrayed is exactly what you will see inside. No staging has been done. We may put different quilts on the beds from the photos but you can be confident you will be renting just what you have seen online. The condo is townhouse style. The 2 bedrooms and full bathroom are upstairs. Downstairs has a half bath along with the living room, kitchen and dining area.

Sand Dollar is located at 372 East Beach Blvd in Gulf Shores. We are right in the heart of Gulf Shores where so many people want to be. We are directly across the street from the beach and it is a 5-6 minute walk from the condo to be standing on the beach. No driving somewhere to get on the beach. You can leave your vehicle in the assigned space under condos and out of the sun.

The condos furnishings are super comfortable which is a big deal to me. I don’t want to be sitting on hotel type furniture. I want something that will be as comfortable as anything I have at home. One of the features I have always loved about San Dollar is the balcony right outside the master bedroom. It overlooks a terrific pool and faces to the east and the morning sunlight. A great place for that first cup of coffee in the morning. That does sound good. M m m mm. If you have children swimming you can sit up on your balcony and watch them from there if you don’t want to be at the pool yourself. Options!

One of Gulf Shores landmark place is The Hangout. It is at the main intersection on Beach Blvd. Sand Dollar is 1/4 mile from The Hangout and the public beach area. You can walk to a number of places to eat or do some of that fun vacation shopping we all do. You know, like buying that Gulf Shores Tshirt and wearing it the rest of the week. Gulf Shores hosts several festivals a year and we are in the perfect place. Only a short walk away but just far enough away to not be in the crowds. You will love the convenience and we know kids especially like to be near things.

Why do people keep coming back to Gulf Shores? Still has the small town beach feel. Still a family oriented city. Still the best Seafood restaurants anywhere. The incredibly white beaches that are so wide simply are beyond description until you see it yourself. Plenty of unique shopping places in Gulf Shores. All the familiar chain restaurants and stores are bordering Gulf Shores in Foley. Night time fun for families. Going to The Hangout during the day or night is a blast. Long walks down nearly secluded beaches in early mornings or before dark is a must.

Our condo has nearly every convenience you have at home. The kitchen is fully stocked so you don’t have to bring home to here. Plenty of linens and towels too. We have free Wifi so bring your laptop too. You will be working with us directly and you always have our phone number if you need us. We pride ourselves in responding every step of the way quickly and politely during the process of deciding and ultimately coming to our condo. We actively manage the condo and do all the cleaning and maintaining so we know what you want when you get here. Clean, Clean, Clean and comfortable! There is a dedicated locked laundry room at the complex with coin operated washers and dryers. They were still $1 in quarters per machine as of December 2023. You will have your own assigned parking space #15 which is in the front of the complex. If you bring a 2nd vehicle there are some unassigned places to park the 2nd vehicle. If your 2 vehicles are not real long you may be able to park both in our space. They just can’t hang out into the driveway.

When my wife Lisa and I were in some of the darkest times of our lives we began a humble business at the beach with condos. Through the thousands of guests, just like you, we were able to do something other than to worry 24/7 about difficult situations within our family. What a blessing it is to serve you and others. **There are about 15 unassigned parking spaces throughout the complex on first come first serve if bringing a 2nd vehicle.

Door Lock Code (Will be Supplied in advance of arrival) Enter either Codes provided on Electronic Lock. Wait 1 second and turn lever BY HAND to left to open dead bolt. When leaving just press SCHLAGE Lock button and wait 2 seconds and turn lever BY HAND to right to lock the dead bolt. Notice when you are done the lever will freely spin.

Simply push the SCHLAGE button to lock the condo each time you leave & wait a couple of seconds then turn lever by hand to lock the dead bolt.

There are 2 keys to use on the counter if you don’t like using electronic lock

We work hard to keep the furniture looking clean and new. Please be reminded to use a towel to cover these items before being seated if you have suntan oil or self-tanning products, as this will stain the fabric.

As you will see, we take very good care of our condo and we expect you to treat our unit with the same respect as you would your own home. Please help us continue to provide these lower rental prices and an up-to-date, clean condo by preventing excessive wear and tear.

There is a coin-operated laundry downstairs. You will need to bring quarters with you. Laundry room code will be supplied.

Upon arrival, check the condo for any apparent damage and report it right away to us. If there seems to be excessive dirt on the furniture, a portion of the previous guests’ deposit will be used for cleaning.

Feet tend to get very dirty when walking barefoot in the halls and parking lot. There is a shower head and spigot on the right side of the building by the stairs to use prior to coming upstairs. Be sure and wipe feet thoroughly when entering the condo. We want to provide a well kept and clean unit for you and future guests as well.

Reminders: Please do not run the air conditioner if you choose to open the door to the balcony and leave it open. This could burn out the unit and would prove to be very expensive for us to replace as well as making the rest of your vacation very HOT! We also ask that children not be allowed to jump on the sleeper sofa or beds. Popsicles, Kool-Aid and grape juice will stain the furniture so we must ask that your family refrain from bringing these types of items into the condo. If it happens that the furniture is soiled or spilled on please wipe up the spills or dirt just as if it was your own home.
