Your retreat awaits at Magnolia House (Downstairs). Enjoy this beautiful 3BR/2BA home in the heart of Magnolia Springs. Situated under historic oaks, you will love to relax in this retreat home. The master has a king size bed & full bath. Other bedrooms have a queen and 2 twins & a built in nook that converts to a crib. The light & airy living room is a great place to hang out, play cards & watch TV. A quick walk to the public pier & kayak launch. Enjoy magnolia river at its finest. Girls Trip
We stayed at this property on a previous trip. We couldn't wait to come back. The location is great! The property is beautiful. Close to Fairhope and Gulf Shores! Planning on making 2 trips a year and will stay at this property.

Great place!
This is a wonderful historic property that is beautifully appointed with gorgeous antiques and heirlooms. My husband and I stayed here so we could visit family in the area over Thanksgiving. This provided us easy access to both bay and beach, which is convenient when you have friends all over the county. The master bedroom bed was SO comfortable and the hosts were great. Some things to note: this is a first floor apartment in a historic home. As such, sound control is an issue. There were a lot of kiddos in the unit above us that were pretty rowdy and noisy into the evenings, but after asking them to keep it down so we could go to bed, they did. Only two burners on the stove worked but had we had a lighter to light them it would’ve been an easy fix. If you are cooking or traveling for business, keep in mind this isn’t outfitted with tons of cooking ware or extra toiletries like you’d find in superhost type rentals. Still, this is truly a lovely place, steeped in local history and oozing with charm.

Perfect location
Great location on beautiful property in a gorgeous neighborhood. Walking distance to the Magnolia river, beautiful sunsets. The nightly visits from Gumbo Dixie was the highlight for the kids. Would definitely book again.

We had an excellent relaxing stay. We loved being able to walk and look at all the beautiful houses, yards and we loved being so close to beaches, but not being in the middle of the Spring Break crowd.

Perfection
This place is easily on my top 3 favorite VRBO finds! I could go on and on about how fantastic it was but I’ll try to keep it short… place looks just like the pictures, only BETTER! You literally have everything you need and some! The location- to die for! The place is right next to the owners home and every inch of where you look is landscaped and beautiful. We walked the neighborhood and it took me back to Massachusetts. The homes are well maintained and yards are immaculate. Most definitely didn’t feel like we were in Alabama. Take a stroll down oak st and soak up the beauty of the massive oaks lining to streets all the way down.. it’s out of a movie (or dream)to say the least. The owner was very helpful if and when we needed anything. If your looking for a cozy and comfortable place for you and your family, rent this place now! 15 mins to tropic falls or 25 mins to the best beach I’ve ever been to! You won’t regret it! We most certainly will be back on our next visit to the gulf shores area. 10/10! Thank you for providing such a beautiful space and sharing it for families to enjoy!

Christmas in Magnolia
My parents have a home around the corner and our whole family spent the week after Christmas together. This house works so perfectly for our situation. This was our second stay here and won't be the last.

Smaller than expected, but really cute
It looks like the photos, but a bit smaller. You can hear the people on the top floor (when they're there) quite a bit, But it was very comfortable and homey. Mr. Gumbo Dixie was very welcoming as well!

Great visit
We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful house. The location was perfect for us. Magnolia Springs is beautiful. We rode bikes, fished with grandchildren and enjoyed the beach! Definitely will revisit!

Small town southern charm
Charming historic district with tree lined streets. Beautiful property, inside & out, met our every need. We enjoyed the neighborhood docks & Magnolia River, biking in the evenings, nearby Fairhope, & Jesse’s to eat. Taylor was very accessible & responsive. We will return!

Quaint and Comfortable
This unit had everything we needed. Comfortable beds, a well equipped kitchen, and loads of charm. The neighborhood is beautiful and quiet. We visited Gulf Shores beaches and the Bay in Fairhope. Both about 20-30 min. It was centrally located for everything we needed. Our hosts were friendly and very responsive. Great stay!

Historic neighborhood
The house is located in a quaint historic neighborhood. It is about a 15 + minute drive to the beach. The house has 3 bedrooms - one King, one queen and two twin beds. The twin beds were hard and very uncomfortable so we ended up piling in the other two beds but other than that the home offered a sweet stay. The owners live right next door so it is convenient should there be any issues.

This place was so beautifully appointed and at the same time super comfy and kid-friendly. Its location puts you right in the heart of Magnolia, right by the water and very near Jesse's. The kitchen included everything we needed. It was an excellent place for gathering with family. Highly recommended!

We had a great stay the weekend of our daughters wedding. The owners were great to us as well as the Magnolia Springs Community. It was truly a southern experience. Our parents live close by and we needed more room for the wedding party and guests. It was a great weekend.
