New acquisition! Now you can rent one or both sides of this nice 2x3BR duplex. On Golden Pond 3A, 3B, or together as a 6BR On Golden Pond 3AB! We have always owned On Golden Pond 3A and now we have acquired the other side of this 2x3BR duplex so you can rent one side, the other side, or BOTH together for a cost-effective, lagoon-side vacay in the heart of Gulf Shores! This listing is for a BOTH sides of this great, cost-effective, 2x3BR duplex for 6 bedrooms. 6 baths! Two kitchens and living rooms, and you can go from side to side on the deck, without going downstairs. Togetherness, but some separation too!

If you need a really nice smaller home, on a budget, OGP3 is perfect! Most seasons, it is less than the cost of a single hotel room per night, yet located in the middle of West Beach, lagoon side (nice shared dock and pool!), and only a short walk (1/4 mile) to the beach (you walk right next to my Seafoam home!).

3BR 3BA. OGP3 is lagoon side, however, it is not lagoon front (like my OGP5 home is). Easy access to the community dock, beach, and pool all right on the lagoon. Nice! And a nice price!

Looking for something a little smaller than most of my properties? Just as nice though! And at a great price!? OGP3 may be the perfect place for you!

On Golden Pond #3, aka OGP3, is a beautiful vacation home with easy access to the community dock, beach, and pool all right on the lagoon. OGP3 is on a private cul de sac shared by mostly owner occupied homes. OGP3 is not lagoon front though you can see the lagoon from the front deck for your little peak at the water in the evenings. OGP3 is the north side of a duplex (no shared living spaces) and we know the owners of the other side if you are interested in both, we are happy to reach out. This vacation home also features covered parking and access to the dock, pool, and beach. This unit is a tremendous value.

Each side of this lagoon side 3 bedroom, 3 bath duplex home has the following bedding:

NICE COMMUNITY POOL, FISHING DOCK, AND BEACH
The pool is on the lagoon. Great views of lagoon, pier, dock, while relaxing poolside. The pool is a 24x14x3-5' Community Pool. There's even a small lagoon, sand, beach right by the pool!

Fishing too from the nice community fishing pier and dock.

GULF BEACH ACCESS
Public beach access is a 3 minute walk on a quiet road, then across west beach (as a crosswalk), right next to my Seafoam home! There is ALSO a lagoon front beach by our community pool. MORE? Yes. You can take the new pedestrian walkway from the road outside our home to the Calloway Bridge (and the public beach there too!). Nice walk along the lagoon!

PARKING
There is available onsite parking for at least 4 cars. In fact, you could park more cars than you should be driving for a 10 person place! Inquire if you have special vehicle needs.

WIFI/INTERNET
YES! We have an awesome Eero mesh network to ensure excellent wifi coverage throughout this spacious home. Spotty coverage is always an issue for big places. Sure internet may work next to the router in the living room, but what about the far reaches of the home!? That's why we installed a multi-node mesh network. And what's the internet like? It is generally solid and ran > 250Mb down the last test--sufficient for several simultaneous video conference sessions for remote work and education. Internet is, of course, an amenity and subject to service provider outages (and guests "troubleshooting" it), especially with the havoc the sand and salt wreak on cabling and facilities, no more so than any other home on the beach though, and likely better since its close in and new construction!

SOAPS, TOWELS, COFFEE, ETC ETC
As with most beach homes in the area, the local mgt co provide what they call a "starter supply" of soaps, toilet paper, and paper towels, etc. Enough for the first night to get you going! Please plan to bring or purchase additional supplies, and any cleaning or pantry supplies you may need, or to make a quick run to the store (or have it delivered!). You will want to bring beach towels or beach chairs as well. Because mgt cos will not generally support them, grills are not provided, though they are sometimes inherited from prior guests: your mileage may vary on this, and we usually assess and then go snag a small charcoal kettle when we come down ourselves. Also of note: at many locations, you may find the bunk beds (and certain other beds) are not fully made--instead a bedding pack is provided. This is a common practice for the local management companies, which is both green (if the bedding is not used, it doesn't have to be laundered) AND more sanitary--housekeeping does not have to crawl on the bunks and so on to make the beds. Also also... all our homes have drip coffee makers and most now have Keurigs as well.

PETS
We do consider well-behaved canine furry friends. This requires owner pre-approval, and is subject to a pet fee (currently $250 per pet). Please inquire.

No smoking please, but feel free to eat lots of shrimp, bask in the warm sun, and have a great time!

The property was as described. There were plenty of kitchen items for our family to use. The property is conveniently close to the beach and an easy walk. The kids also enjoyed the community pier and swimming pool. We will definitely be back.

Great property!

This was a great stay for a mix of friends/family. There were 14 of us in total, and it was good space to have for everyone. We loved fishing off the dock at night and walking to the beach in the mornings. One thing to note is that the sleeper sofa spots are each in an open area between two bedrooms on the second floor. I thought they were a bit more secluded when I looked online. It still worked great for our family, I am just sharing for context as you are planning your trip.

Great Change-Up

The last two years Orange Beach we stayed at the same hotel and considered doing it again before someone suggested that we search for a beach house so that our whole group could stay together. This was a great find, and property management texted and call back immediately with any concerns!

Very good place

We had a party of 18, and there was plenty of room for us all. The accomadations were just as described. The location was very convienent to beach and lagoon. We were glad to bring a wagon with us to help haul the beach day supplies. Only complaint was the pool isnt heated. We appreciate the follow up from Rick after our stay and hope to be back soon.

Perfect for family gatherings

Loved this place. We rented both sides. Family was all together but could separate when needed (children’s naps, adults needing quiet or adults wanting to play guitar). View was lovely. Walk to beach was an adventure on the boardwalk over the lagoon. Great bike paths. One of our children learned to ride a bike while we were there. Convenient to grocery and shops. I highly recommend it.

The location and set up of On Golden Pond #3 was good over all. Easy access to the beach. Side A needs a little TLC in several areas and a deep cleaning. Side B seems to be a little more stylish and definitely cleaner. Over all we were pleased with our stay.

Perfect all around

Place is in great location. Short walking distance to the beach. Enough room for us to park cars under it and hang out. The host was excellent with communicating with us and helping with all accommodations. Friendly and responded quickly. Definitely a great trip and would definitely stay there again.

great kitchen everything, except 1 dishcloth and 1 dish towel, wasn't prepared for that. All bed very good except A side bedroom first floor needs new mattress. Jet tub on this side also when turned on all kinds of black nasty stuff came out, couldn't figure how to turn on the shower, no regular handle on it, it was rigged which we figured out. But on side B the garbage disposal went out but they were there in a few minutes to fix, all in all we had a great vacation there. I think they need to refigure only 1 towel per person that is a lot of washing towels for a large group
