Family Friendly Beach Front Home in the Heart of Fort Morgan

Cute family friendly house right on the beach. You can't get much closer than this. 3 bedroom house with King bed, Queen bed, and 2 sets of twin bunk beds. Big open front room with two sleeper sofas and a sleeper ottoman. Perfect balcony for relaxing and enjoying the Bay. Long driveway with lots of available parking, you are on the beach though so be careful parking on the sand. A great spot for your family vacation, or your friendly getaway.

Location! Location! Location!
You cannot get a stay closer to the ocean than this! It is an older property so just don't expect much! Beds were comfortable! Furniture was mis matched. Just don’t expect much!

Needs work
Dirty carpet, vacuum cleaner would not suction for us to use either. Washer was so loud you could not be inside and use it. The “master bath” is the size of an RV bathroom. The air conditioner does not cool bedrooms. Screened in porch has ripped screens. Living room has large hump in the middle of the room. Utensils are in poor shape. Window in kitchen does not close and seal. How are you OK? Kitchen has part of wall separating from window. Inside of cabinets are old. Floor around door frames has gaps that don’t meet the wall not safe for small kids.

Easy Access to beach and Pet Friendly
Nice property, nothing fancy, open living area, easy walk right out from house to the beach. Pictures available on line. We rented the house because the access to the beach and it was pet friendly.

Family Time
The property is a great location. It’s a cute little bungalow but was big enough for 6 adults and a few children. The location is prime and directly on the beach. The view was amazing. We had an excellent time. I do agree with other posts that things could be updated, however…when at the beach we only need a spot to lay our heads at night and this was perfect for us. The owner is also very friendly and the communication with her was very quick and easy.

Great location but...would suggest they not rent before major cleaning and safety improvements.
Location is right on the beach in Ft Morgan. Plenty of towels & Ok bedding were pros. I gave it 2 stars because it was very dirty, dilapidated, & unsafe, particularly for young children or elderly guests. Dirty - The floors in the kitchen had crumbs & food on them, blinds & lampshades were thick in dust, TV trays were sticky with food rings, extra appliances in kitchen are on a rolling cabinet on the floor & coated in grime, dirt, & food. The vent hood, fans, baseboards, TV stand were also dusty and sticky. Dilapidated - the state of the "shack" is really bad. The microwave has rust holes in the bottom & door frame. All appliances are extremely old & in need of cleaning or replacement. There were no beach toys or accessories for the beach except 2 or 3 completely rusted chairs that we didn't dare use. The rest of "dilapidated" references more unsafe: the screen on the porch is torn away in many places & completely torn from the door. The decking boards are warped/spongey in some places so you need to step carefully to not trip or stub toes. It's not safe for young kids as there are many slats missing from the railing & dozens of rusty nails sticking out. Closet doors in guest room are just leaning against the hot water heater. Towel rack in main bath has been ripped off wall but one piece is still attached - perfect height to smack your head when you stand up from toilet. I took a dozen photos in disbelief at the state of this place - it should be not be rented as is

The house was right on the beach. The beach wasnt crowded at all. The house could definitely use some updating, but was clean overall. The carpet and couches were slightly stained and there was a very slight hint of pet odor, but for a pet friendly house, it was great. It was stocked with everything you need, down to the beach towels. I would definitely stay there again. The host was very sweet. She offered for us to come earlier than the scheduled check in time and to stay later than check out time.

Disappointing
Upon arrival property unkempt . Beds unmade, comforters and pillow cases draped over doors and lamps. Dishwasher full of dirty dishes. Drawers for silverware dirty. Screened porch ripped. Door barely hanging from hinges with screens missing. Proprietor came next morning cleaned house. Location on beach is biggest selling point. Found out in process of being knocked down and new structure built. Wish that had been shared before rental.

You really couldnt have a more perfect location for a secluded, relaxing beachbget away. If youre someone who needs to have all of the convenience stores and tourist shops nearby... this might nit be for you. The house itself is in dire need if maintenance... but i was told its being torn down and replaced with a large duplex... what a shame! Cleanliness was ok but did need a dep clean... moldy shower, a bit dusty... but still livable. The screens on the porch were mostly torn and flapping in the wind.. whuch qas super disappointing as this is a great spot to watch the ocean. I didnt use it because, honesty, between the torn screens and pretty dirty table and furniture... it wasnt comfortable. All that being said.... the proximity to the ocean and communication with the property manager... were so good that i could overlook these other issues. The house, as i said, was livable and with those few details resolved... I would definitely stay again.

Perfect on the beach!
We had a great time! The home is just a few steps from the beach, which was amazing! The home was fully stocked with any dishes or appliances you might need! Plenty of towels and the beds were very comfy! I loved the outdoor porch!

Great house and host
The house was very clean and overall we had a great experience! It is right on the beach and about 20 minutes from the shops and restaurants. We basically had an entire section of the beach to ourselves. The host was quick to respond to any questions I had and made sure my check-in went smoothly. Check-in was simple. I would highly recommend staying here!

Love the beach.
Great renting. Hard time getting location and code. Water pipes frozen and busted on arrival. House cold 33 degrees. Finally got person to talk to Called plumber. Pipes fixed water about 2:30. On Christmas Day. Manager said will give discount on next visit. Lost first day of vacation due to problem. All else was good

My sister and I stayed with our adult daughter. The unit was clean and well equipped. Manager is easy to reach and responded promptly to text messages. The screened porch was our favorite spot.

Beautiful Beach Location
We had a wonderful visit. The house is older and needs some TLC but I've heard the owners are planning some major changes in the off-season. It was very clean and well stocked. The kitchen is small if you are looking to cook your own meals. But nothing compares to the location! Quiet neighborhood and located right on the water. We loved how close we were to the ocean. Thank you for a fun week!

Great location
House was about 10 steps from the beach, which was very private. Beach was fine white sand and water was very clear with dolphins spotted. House could use some updating but served it’s purpose for us. It was about 20 miles from Gulf Shores but there was a very good seafood restaurant (Tacky Jacks) and a Dollar General near by.
