Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

We really enjoyed our stay! The location was lovely! Everything was close by! The pics were all true to the listing! The only complaint I have is I asked the host prior if our condo faced the beachside and they said yes indeed, but it did not, but the building was in fact beachside! It was facing the street but it was not bad still very short walk right to the beach! We will definitely be back!!

Decent property, misleading description

While the building itself is on the beach, this unit is not and has no Gulf view. You can walk around the deck for a view, but it feels like you are in another tenant’s space when you do as the actual beachside units have sliding doors that look out. Unit was clean but felt dingy due to being outdated. All communications are automated by a management company, so while they were decently informative, good luck getting a response if you do have a question.

Right on the beach! But room for improvement

Right on the beach! But definitely room for improvement. Small complex, which is a plus in my book, but be aware only one parking spot per unit. Some of the condos have a beach view, but unfortunately this one does not. There are no private balconies at this complex. It is a little misleading saying this condo has a balcony. The balcony goes around the whole floor, and is how you enter each condo. So no sitting and reading with a beach view. And very poor communication before and during our stay. I messaged a couple times with questions before our stay and most of the time I got a standard generic reply instead of actually answering my question. When arriving, the pool code provided did not work and there was no code in the condo, like they provide for the wifi, etc. Messaged to get a new code, which also did not work. No mention of a key fob, but found in one of the many emails and texts they sent, that key fobs would be in the condo. After digging around in every drawer in the kitchen, finally found them just laying in the bottom drawer. Two key chains, each with a fob and a key. One fob worked the pool, but the key attached did not work anything. Key chain #2, the key worked the door, but the fob didn’t work. Check out instructions were not sent until late the night before. Definitely needs improvements in communication of all types. One email with all pertinent and correct information provided, instead of piecemealing it would have been much improved.

Great location - right on the beach

Many things need to be addressed: No chest of drawers in either bedroom - there is room for a small one in each bedroom Door to king bedroom closet won’t fully open due to large size of nightstand in front of it - moved nightstand to be able to get into the closet Put it living room to have another table for drinks, electronics, etc. Dirty silverware in drawer - looked like had been taken out of dishwasher dirty and put away - ran it all thru the dishwasher and it came clean Pool is way too small for number of units using it No light bulbs in overhead fixture in king bedroom - took one from twin bedroom so would have some light Stove “burners” are all extremely crooked making it very difficult to cook Bathtub drains extremely slowly - full of sand???? No cover on exhaust fan in bathroom Need more small forks and spoons Cup had handle broken off Large plastic bowl in pantry was broken More resealable containers needed Pizza pan or cookie sheet needed Clothes washer very loud Storm door latch needs attention - doesn’t latch very well and no closing mechanism No beach chairs provided with rental - can rent chairs for $40/day from business about 1/4 mile away Pros Location Pretty well equipped

Disappointing accommodations. Nonexistent customer service.

We booked the unit because of the listed amenity of a pool and hot tub, but upon arrival was told it was closed due to construction. We contacted the management (Vacasa) various times and we’re told we’d be contacted soon for resolution. No such contact came and we were left with a disappointing unit with wear and tear and a terribly stained couch— and no pool or hot tub for the entire stay. The unit is well appointed, steps to the beach. But unfortunately the poor customer service and lacking amenities overshadowed that.

The rental was just as pictured. Parking under the building is very tight and if everyone parked would back ALL the way to the parking curb it would assist others. There was hair in the tub when we arrived and someone’s leftover Jim Beam in the kitchen cupboard. Is steps from parking under the rental. It fit our needs and the beach

Everything over all was very lovely. The only concern was there was sands in the beds when we arrived, a shelf in the pantry was not very sturdy which seemed useless. But over all the place was nice and me and my family enjoyed it and had a great experience

Overall

Overall wasnt bad . The appliances are outdated and the floors were not clean at all . You could not even walk across the floor without shoes on there was so much sand on the floors . The beds were nice and clean and the bathroom was clean.

While the facility and beach were what we expected, when we arrived we discovered that while the listing accepted pets the property and association did not. The listing stated pets allowed. I spoke with an owner and he informed me that is incorrect. Please update the online listing so guests are not made to feel uncomfortable in that situation.

Some of the members in our group had problems navigating the stairs. We were surprised that the condo was not ADA compliant. Getting luggage and supplies up and down were a struggle. The location was great. Thought it was facing the ocean, but it did have beach view.

PERFECT VACATION SPOT

I had never stayed at this property before but I was pleasantly surprised with it! The place was exceptionally clean when we arrived and vacasa even called the next day just to check in on us! It was right on the beach and everyone was so nice. It was so sweet and I’d definitely like to come back :)

Came up short of expectation

The picture in the first review of the property is a pool that belongs to another location. The furniture was very Uncomfortable. The refrigerator barely kept anything cold. When we arrived the beds were full of sand there were no sheets on the beds and they were dirty dishes in the cupboards. The pots and pans were a bare minimum at the most. In addition it should be disclosed on all of these properties that there is no elevator at the site and walking four flights of stairs when you’re a senior citizen made Getting luggage and groceries to the property quite the chore.

Perfect rental for a family vacation!

Becky’s place was great!! It’s the perfect spot for a family wanting an affordable stay on the beach. Our unit was clean and equipped with everything we needed. The beds were super comfy! The washing machine was pretty loud so maybe avoid running it if you have little ones napping it late at night, but that wasn’t a big deal. I forgot my information packet at home but Becky was understanding and quick to respond with all the info I needed! You walk out of the unit, down 2 flights of stairs, a few feet across the parking lot, and you’re on the beach. For some reason I was picturing it to be further from the beach but it’s literally ON the beach. I read all the reviews and while the pool is on the smaller side, it was perfect. The weather was chilly with the wind, but the pool was SO warm and the hot tub was perfect. The pool has a very shallow “splash pad” that my 2 year old loved, a 3 ft section that my 6 year old loved, and the “deep end” for the bigger kids. Very convenient location close to a small grocery, coffee shop, and tons of restaurants. The ONLY negative to this rental is the parking but that is out of the owners control. The parking spots are small and tight (we drove my mini van and it was a tight squeeze). Our second day there a new renter was parked next to us and parked crooked making it nearly impossible for us to get in and out. If you drive a big vehicle I don’t see how it would be possible to utilize the parking spot when all other spots are full and there’s very little room to maneuver. We LOVED our stay and hope to be back. Thank you Becky for opening your place up. We had the perfect vacation!
