The space
Just under 2 hours from both Boston + NYC, Stone Garden Getaway is set back from the road and both spacious & cozy. The outdoors is like being in the French countryside with meadows, meandering stone walls, gorgeous gardens and a hem of old growth trees. The great room is soaring, open & bright with a barn-like feel and warm wood stove for the winter months. You will love cooking at the gas stove, and using the copper sink to clean up. The old bowling alley island adds a unique twist and is open for great entertaining and connecting. The quiet bedrooms are tucked down a private hallway and include spacious baths and comfy beds. Enjoy the sunset and star gazing from the huge 3 season porch.

Other things to note
Stone Garden is named after my āPoppyā, a small town, local mason who built the stone part of this home, with love, stone by stone, using pink granite from stony creek quarry & stones he dragged out of the surrounding woods, one by one, with his tractor named āDaisyā. This is a space filled with joyful memories. Please create some beautiful ones for you and your family.
