"We stayed for 2 weeks, whilst the rest of the country had a heat wave, we had a couple of nice days and the rest was misty and windy. However, the house exceeded our expectations being warm, comfortable and had everything you could need - really high quality furnishings etc. Fantastic views from the house and the patio area and walks from the doorstep. "This is an amazing place to stay. Loved everything about the house. It has a really good fire and the thick walls certainly help to keep the heat in. We stayed here for 3 weeks and the only problem I have is that it wasn’t for longer. Will definitely be back."

"Joan's house is very spacious, well equipped, and perfectly located within 10 mins walk from the local shops (provisions, crafts and tweed) and the local restaurant, deli, ButtyBus, harbour and lochs. "Beautiful location, well laid out and up to date property. Fully stocked for all eventualities. Warm welcome from host, appreciated bottle of wine! Lots of things to do in the area, we were so busy we couldn't find time to spark up the hot tub, alas. All in all, a fabulous week. The agency website doesn't do sufficient justice to the property."

"We had a lovely holiday at Lochedge Lodge. We received a warm welcome from Julia who could not have been more helpful. The apartment was comfortable, spotlessly clean and we'll equipped with fine views of loch and hills. A super location on a lovely island. "
