"This is a really nice hotel. I booked it at short notice. The room was huge (208). Very comfortable bed and room was quiet. Fantastic pool, steam room, sauna, jacuzzi, and there is also an ice room (Brr, not for me). We decided to have an evening meal and both enjoyed it. I had the steak which was really nice. They do a sauce called Axle Jack. That is just out of this world. All in all very nice stay and a hotel thatbI would certainly go back to."

"A lovely little cabin by a lake at the back of the owner's house (great distance between. Felt secluded and peaceful. Was great waking up and feeding the chickens, guinea fowl, geese and ducks with a cup of tea looking at the lake. A great spot to unplug and relax. Fully equipped with a fridge/freezer, central heating, cooker, kettle etc. a few more utensils would be handy. Highly recommend a stay here and the owners, Amanda and Barry are friendly, helpful and good folk."

"Living away from the area, we wanted a property that would allow us to bring our whole family together over Christmas, including 12 on Christmas day. Croxton House was the perfect location. Spacious but not overwhelming, a dining room big enough for what we needed, a location. That was rural but not too far from local amenities. "Easy access and very bright clean and airy. It has everything you need and is lovely and quiet. Good outdoor space too with access to Queens Park boating lake. Bedrooms were both great but, if you struggle with mobility, the upstairs room might not be for you( very steep stairs!). The room and bed are amazing though!
