Welcome to Palm Bluff, an extraordinary 2-bedroom, 1-bath sanctuary perched upon a breathtaking seaside cliff just 5 minutes south of Gregory Town, Eleuthera, Bahamas. Revel in the unparalleled privacy of this exquisite retreat, where no visible neighbors and no other rental properties on-site promise a truly exclusive escape.

Boasting three sets of elegant mahogany French doors, Palm Bluff unveils a spacious front porch suspended 45 feet above the mesmerizing Caribbean Sea. Be it on the porch or within the house, stunning views of the water surround you at every turn.

Embrace your adventurous spirit by descending the concrete steps – artistically carved through the limestone cliff – to explore the calm waters below. Experience phenomenal snorkeling amidst an underwater wonderland teeming with tropical fish.

Four lounge chairs invite relaxation, whether you prefer shaded tranquility on the porch or sun-soaked leisure on the adjacent concrete deck. Additionally, two aluminum folding beach chairs accompany you on beach outings or daily excursions. After a day of sun and sand, rejuvenate under the outdoor shower (cool water only) with a captivating view of the sea.

Each tastefully-appointed bedroom features a serene, ultra-quiet AC unit and ceiling fan, while an additional AC unit cools the living room and kitchen, complemented by more ceiling fans. The stylish bathroom showcases a rainwater shower, a spacious sink vanity, and exquisite Cuban tile flooring. The kitchen boasts modern stainless steel appliances and a farmhouse sink.

Palm Bluff provides bedding, towels, beach towels, and a fully-equipped kitchen. A washer and dryer are available in the adjoining laundry shed. Enjoy pure drinking water from the reverse osmosis (RO) system in the kitchen, perfect for consumption, cooking, and ice-making. While there is no TV, Wi-Fi is available to keep you connected.

Our dedicated caretaker, who lives just 5 minutes away, is readily available to assist with any questions or concerns during your stay. Additional maid services can be arranged for an extra fee.

Palm Bluff's exceptional location offers an extraordinary experience, with the cliffs and the gentle Caribbean breeze providing a unique Bahamian ambiance. Awesome Place
We stayed here for five nights, the view was amazing, great snorkeling by the steps. Had a question connecting to WIFI, messaged the staff and was able to get it resolve within minutes. The bed was comfy and clean. Kitchen is equipped with enough pots and plates and utensil. Wish there were more shower towels for 5 nights but the two of us did fine, if there were 4 people then maybe you will have to ask for more. Some tiny flies in the house but I think that's just part of being on a island. We tried to use the laundry but there were no detergent. Overall we enjoyed our stay there and can't wait to be back!

Perfect quiet getaway
The house was extremely clean and comfortable with beautiful views and a great snorkeling spot. We would have been happy not leaving the house the entire time! Our favorite excursions were a beautiful walk to surfers beach, a quick drive to the Cliffs, the glass window bridge, Sapphire Hole, and a festival in Hatchet Bay where locals were warm and welcoming. We are already planning when we can return. Thank you!

Much needed rest
Our stay could not have been any better. The house was clean and well maintained. Beds were comfortable and the AC kept the bedrooms cool at night. The pictures in the listing just don’t do justice to the view from the porch. An SUV is nice to have for the driveway but we never needed 4 wheel drive. Our family of four had plenty of room. Can’t wait to stay here again soon!

House with a view
The views and breeze were wonderful. The bed and linens very comfortable. The information packet provided made it easy to get around. 4WD for the drive and other roads is a must. We felt home away from home with the pups and would love to try to get them back with us. The house could use a few updates but was a very comfortable house. It was also in a great central location to go north or south. We would definitely stay again at Palm Bluff!

Stunning View Near Gregory Town!
My husband and I visited this home for our third stay in Eleuthera and it was our best experience yet! Home was a perfect fit for us with comfortable mattresses, stocked kitchen to cook, nice shower with privacy on the porch all day long! We enjoyed snorkeling off the house and plenty of outings of places to see in the North and mid part of the country. We would definitely stay here again!

The place is very much as pictured. Very clean and amazing views. The indoor shower head was a little tricky to ensure water didn’t get on the bathroom floor which we didn’t want to damage. The kitchen was well stocked to cook or not. Also, the house had items to go to the beach including snorkel equipment, cooler and chairs.

Paradise Found at Palm Bluff
The property was clean and well stocked with all supplies listed in the description. The view was mesmerizing and mafe us feel relaxed and content. The last part of the road to the house is bumpy, but we knew that ahead of time, and rented a vehicle with high clearance. Property is perfect for 2 people.

Beautiful view
The house was as described and the view was stunning. The house is secluded which was very nice and quiet. The only comment is that this house is not for anyone that is any type of mobility issues as it is a climb uphill and several steps. Highly recommend!

Charming cottage on the cliff!
Beautiful cottage, perched on the cliff just outside of Gregorytown- amazing views, and sunset and steps down to the beautiful blue Caribbean waters, for swimming and jumping (my teens did a lot of it)! Immaculately, clean, easy, check in process, wonderful follow up from Caretaker. We had zero complaints, but I am sure if we had a single one it would’ve been quickly remedied. We will most certainly be back to this secluded oasis on Eleuthera!

Loved the view! Pretty spectacular and very private. We enjoyed it! Would have liked more shower towels .. sounds like a small detail but 4ppl staying in this home and 4 small shower towels. Minor detail but why not have more? Bring your own clothes washing detergent, sugar, etc. Thanks for letting us stay, we enjoyed our time. Cheers

Absolutely beautiful!
Amazing property with the best view for the price. Don't waste your time with other beaches and go to Gaulding Cay Beach. Also, definitely rent a good SUV. The road to the house is not for the feint of heart. There are plenty to look for on Google. Really appreciated the rental app they send you. Best souvenir shop is in Gregory town.

Heaven on earth
This place is a gem. No matter which direction you look there is a breathtaking view. This place is super secluded and with no one in sight. The access to the ocean is so fun and we saw so many fish, stingray and sharks and had a blast jumping off. Sunset was our favorite hour and I haven’t seen a night sky as beautiful as I did here. The house itself is so cute and has everything you need. Just make sure you have a car that can handle the dirt road and you’re set. You will not regret booking this, it’s the best place over even been to.

Stunning views and shark swim experiences.
I can't say enough about the absolutely stunning 180 degree of the water all the way to the horizon. I could stand at the porch rail for hours just stare out at the clear blue water. The water was nearly always calm and we often saw fish and turtles right from the porch. The whole place was very clean and everything was in very good condition. For island based internet, this was more than fast enough for the whole family to surf the web in the evening or even stream a netflix movie after the sun went down. The pictures shown online are very accurate we really enjoyed our stay. Let's take a moment to talk about the steps that lead down to the water. They are fairly steep and the jump from the last platform into the water was a lot of fun. But be aware, when we were there, there was a significant amount of shark activity. When we first got there, my wife took a video of my daughter and I jumping into the water. See the video on tiktok under user account nikkiped5. ( sorry, VRBO doesn't allow direct links in comments. ) You can see in the video she nearly jumped on the shark! We were not aware of the shark until later when we were reviewing the video. Standing on the top of the stairs you can see turtles, sting rays and one of the two sharks cruise by at least once in 10-15 minutes. The water was awesome and very frequently as calm as a swimming pool, and if it wasn't for the sharks, there was great snorkeling as well. If you're adventurous and don't mind swimming with wild sharks, this is awesome. Some people spend a lot of money to swim with sharks, and here they are included! For us, we stayed out of the water after our SECOND shark encounter, after foolishly thinking that the jump was just a one in a million chance thing. Nope, these sharks live there and cruise the cliff all day. Enjoy!

AMAZING
AMAZING!!! Pictures do not do it any justice. One of our most amazing vacations we have ever had. Not just the house but the entire island. It completely changes how you see yourself. The island name of Eleuthera means Freedom and i can't think of a more perfect word to describe our visit there :)

Perfect, private vacation!
This is the perfect house to get away from the hustle and bustle of work. The sunsets were incredible, the steps leading down into the ocean were so cool and unique. It was amazing starting each day off with a long swim. We will be back!

Amazing Location, Complete Privacy!
Many thanks to Ellett for sharing his beautiful home with us. We were supposed to visit in May 2020 but COVID changed our plans. Ellett was great to work with, providing a refund back then, which made us want to rebook his beautiful home. We are so glad we did. This home is extremely private! We didn't see another human anywhere near the home all week. Other than a bit of a rough road to get in it was perfect (but that's part of the charm, and all roads on Eleuthera are rough). The home had everything we needed for a "do it yourself" vacation. We ate in virtually every meal, except great pizza from Rainbow Inn one day and lunch at Tippy's when we went to French Leave Beach. Great wi-fi to keep in touch with the outside world if you choose to. Cecil, who takes care of the house, was also great to work with on the one minor issue we experienced and was there in less than 10 minutes. If we had realized they had such great snorkeling gear we would have left ours own at home. Excellent beach chairs as well. If we could do it over we wouldn't do late July, but we wanted to rebook once the restrictions were relaxed. It was very hot and humid, lots of insects, and the prevailing winds made the water pretty rough each day. We weren't able to use the diving platform like we would have liked, although one evening finally calmed and we saw several turtles just to the left. Our favorite parts were the privacy, the very dark skies for viewing stars (saw the Milky Way with naked eyes), and the proximity to everything in the northern half of the island. Favorite beaches were Ben Bay (although lots of boats came in), Tay Bay (pretty private little cove on far east end), French Leave (probably our favorite of the week), and Ten Bay, which we went to twice. Amazing shallow water for 100 yards. Perfect for kids. Palm Bluff provided the perfect getaway we needed to get away from people and COVID. So glad we chose this as our home base. Thanks Ellett, we appreciate you sharing your beautiful home with us!

Amazing Property
If you’re looking for a very private and clean ocean front vacation home this is your spot. The house was great but the views and location are what really make it amazing. You’re 10 min from many attractions and 30 min to the Barbour island ferry. I would definatley stay here again.

Secluded Escape with a view
perfect size ocean view home/cottage for a couple. Gorgeous view and very private. Driving access to a multitude of amazing and non crowded beaches. Great home for cooking in or 15-30 minute drive to quaint and excellent restaurants. Very pleased with our stay and experience. Property manager was SO responsive and so easy to deal with!

Truly the photos do not do this place justice, the location and setting of the home is truly magical! The memories of staring off into the horizon - morning, noon, and night will surely be everlasting, amongst everything else that is so special about this place. It was our second time to Eleuthera and Gregory town and the first time staying in a rental property on the island d and it was more then we could have imagined! Secluded but accessible to surfers beach, Gregory town restaurants and easy to drive south to James Cistern and Governers Harbor! The property was immaculate, and being able to go down the stairs and watching the wildlife swim past was incredible, it was like our own private aquarium with Sting rays, Manta Rays, plenty of fish as well as a couple of nurse sharks! The stairs to the water was challenging but worthwhile for the snorkeling around the cliff edge. We live Eleuthera and love Palm Bluff, thanks for having us!

Paradise & Privacy
From its private perch on the edge of a cliff overlooking the Caribbean Sea, to the quality of construction and sleek, clean interior appointments, this property exceeded our expectations. We saw enough of the island to realize our luck in having stumbled upon so unique a vacation home with our very first visit to Eleuthera. Ellett's thoughtful and thorough guidance in helping us navigate the logistics of our vacation was in the best tradition of customer first. Like the sea turtles we watched all week surface for air and the warmth of the sun, we leave this sliver of paradise refreshed, relaxed, ready to dive back into our busy lives.

Breathtaking Views
Palm Bluff is an immaculately designed and maintained home with a view that is tough to describe accurately in a vrbo post. Breathtaking is the only word that comes close. Ellett was incredibly helpful and quick to respond before and during the stay. It was tough to leave.
