"The first thing we noticed was the cleanliness of the house. Took awhile to figure out how to use the fan to have air flow through the heating vents, more ceiling fans would’ve been helpful for us (we’re use to central air and windows that can open for fresh air). Great place overall."

"This was a great experience to see what it's like to vacation "Off the Grid". You had everything you needed in a cozy little place. Evelyn and Todd were extremely responsive and very helpful with all the different quirks of the place being off the grid. The bed was comfy, the recliner loveseat was great. "Loved the house, so much nostalgia…..loved the kitchen stove, that worked very well, by the way. Perfect location quiet and central to many things we wanted to see. Loved talking with Tina, she was more than happy to answer my questions about the house and the surrounding area and Pat was prompt in communicating with me when needed. Definately would stay again!!!!"

"Very impressed at how clean, modern and well-appointed the cabin was. Everything I needed was there and it was very comfortable. Although it's on highway 45, road noise was not noticeable inside. I was there for some hunting and fishing and the location was great for getting around quickly. This would be good for snowmobilers, waterfall explorers and hikers, too."

"We wanted a quiet spot to explore the SW Kewanaw and Porcupine Mountains. This fit the bill. Nice heat and not drafty Only wish the place had been cleaned after the previous guests. Beds had slept in sheets, trash in cans, unwashed towels etc in hamper"

"The location was great, beautiful, peaceful and easy access to the Keweenaw Peninsula. The house was fairly clean and the bed was comfortable. However, the house had nice finishes/updates but poorly done. The electrical was clearly done by a non professional and without permits or inspections as outlets were upside down and light switches were in weird locations. There is a reason the shower does not appear in any of the booking photos! There is only a powder room. The "shower" is a shower...

"Glen and Rita were gracious and helpful. The place was everything we needed and can sleep SO MANY PEOPLE! We only had four people but I think you could comfortably fit 7-8 or more. Clean and comfortable, plus great access to everything we needed. Thanks, Glen and Rita!"

"Went to the UP to ride with some friends. Had an amazing time both of the trails and at the house. House was awesome plenty of room, has all the amenities you need from towels, to a fully stocked kitchen. Owner was always quick to respond to questions. Would highly recommend staying there. "

"Everything here exceeded our expectations. My family wanted somewhere quiet and beautiful to spend some time together, and this place was absolutely perfect. The host was very accommodating for our cats, and even the cats enjoyed their time here. All amenities were good quality and we had no issues with any part of the house during our week here. I can't express how grateful I am to Mr. Jason. I hope me and my family can come back soon!"
