"I booked last minute for a cycle event in the area, the directions were easy to follow, if you screenshot them as advised, phone signal is poor to non existent (bliss) The Meadow View Hut is clean cozy and well appointed, the fire burns very warm so one of the provided logs at a time. If you can’t be bothered with the hassle of the fire, the heating is plenty on its own. Falstone is a great staging post for Kielder Forest, and there’s plenty of adventurous things to do near by, endless walks...

"We had a wonderful stay at Settlers lodge. Beautifully decorated and very well equipped! Loved seeing the squirrels around the garden! Set in a great area for walking and exploring. We enjoyed both the local pub and also a takeaway from the nearby pub. Both we would recommend. Cannot wait to come for a return visit . Thanks again!"

"Beautiful apartment in lovely, historic building. Extremely tasteful furnishings with fantastic mullioned windows. Very scenic spot with gorgeous views and a very pretty town- Rothbury. Super walks from the house and only 25 minutes from very sandy Alnmouth beach. Our dog loved it all and we, as well as him, were made to feel very welcome by the owner in our communication. "

"We try and come to Otterburn once a year as we love the area. The cabin was very clean and well stocked with tableware amd cutlery. The veds were comfy abd the hot tub was amazing. The only thing that frustrated us was the induction hob, we have never used one before so took a lot of getting used to despite reading the instructions several times.will definitely be returning and will have hopefully mastered the use of an induction hob by then!"

"On top of a large hill, I think the cottage was originally for the staff who worked the farm that lies a little farther down the hill. The cottage is beautifully restored, comfortable, and has stunning views. Hexham is a wonderful town just a short drive away. We had no vehicle and used local taxis, which were easy to get. A convenient bus in Hexham took us to Roman forts and Hadrian’s wall. The hosts were very helpful."
