With a bunkhouse providing additional sleeping space, this cottage is perfect for both romantic getaways and family vacations. And, don't forget to bring your furry friend along, as we are pet friendly for well behaved dogs.

Beautiful up north beach getaway

This was the 5th summer we have stayed at this property so obviously we absolutely love it! The beach is stunning, location is great, everything you could possibly need or want. Tim is great if you need anything. We hope to be able to stay here for many more summers.

My husband, myself, and our two dogs really enjoyed our getaway at Tim and Sandyā€™s cottage. We truly couldnā€™t have asked for anything more. The cottage was cozy, comfortable and stocked with everything we could need. The best part was the access to the beach- we took beach walks every morning and played with our dogs on the beach every day.We always had an abundance of firewood for our nightly campfires as well.We came home so refreshed and relaxed- we canā€™t wait to return!

The cottage was super clean. ALOT of little amenities supplied - bonfire with wood and lighter fluid, great grill, terrific outside deck for eating, great beach with beach chairs. Highly recommend. Very nice hosts.

Amazing little gem on Lake Huron

We LOVED our stay at the cottage. It is cozy, well stocked and in a great location. The shores of Lake Huron are just steps out the door.The furniture is comfortable and it is a very easy living space.We loved sitting on the deck, the bird feeders were stocked and the birds were everywhere.We enjoyed walking the beach and jet skiing on Cedar Lake, which has public access 2 minutes away. It was wonderfully relaxing and rejuvenating. We could not have asked for a better location and look forward to returning for another stay.

Peaceful retreat

We absolutely loved our stay in this cozy retreat. The property is beautiful and very quiet despite being on a busy road. The beach access was amazing, our two dogs absolutely loved running down the beach. We thoroughly enjoyed watching all the birds, squirrels, chipmunks play in the yard around the bird feeders. That was my favorite part! House was very cozy and had everything we needed for a long weekend. We enjoyed cooking, reading, and relaxing. Good location close to Oscada (we did a day trip to lumbermanā€™s monument), Tawas and Sturgeon Lighthouse. Overall, perfect beach getaway!

Greenbush Hideaway

Beautiful cabin built in 1940 perfectly set back from the shore on Lake Huron. We met with the proprietor, Tim Reed, and met his son-in-law. The cabin was lovingly cared for and all was comfy cozy! We prepared and ate our meals in the kitchen/dining area, spending Easter Sunday there! Watched the beautiful sunrise and colored eggs! We hope to return when flowers and trees are in bloom! Thanks to the Reeds!

Pristine location for relaxation

This was a lovely stay by my partner and two dogs. We celebrated the new year with lots of naps, reading and relaxation as well as walks on the beach. Great place for a couple to get away and have a great view and beautiful sunrises but still have a town nearby. Responsive owners and tidy home

cozy lakeshore getaway

Beautiful site nestled on the shore of Lake Huron. Private but easily accessible. The cottage is cozy, with lovely knotty pine panneling. It has great natural light with large windows and a skylight over the dining table. It is well cared for and clean, with a fully equiped kitchen. The oweners live nearby and were responsive and informative.

Relaxing and cozy cottage

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this charming cottage on the beach. What a gem and prompt communication by host. Our Labrador retriever loved the beach for swimming and chasing butterflies and the eagle resting in a nearby tree was a bonus! We loved walking the beach at sunrise and sunset - spectacular pics. A very relaxed time and will surely return!

Outdoor paradise

Our plan was to spend as much time outdoors as possible, and we were not disappointed! We spent all our time on the deck, around the fire pit, and on the beach. Our dog loved playing ball in the water and taking long walks on the lakeshore. When it rained, we enjoyed the great view of the lake from the tv room. Love this part of Michigan!

Privacy & Paradise

My wife and I stayed in this cottage with our dog. We were in town to celebrate our 20th Anniversary. Tim is a 5+ star host. The cleanliness of the cabin and surrounding area are impeccable. We spent our evenings on the deck enjoying the sounds of the waves crashing on the shoreline. We went to Rosa's Lookout Inn to celebrate our anniversary and they went above and beyond as well. We visited Sturgeon Point Lighthouse and Tawas Point Lighthouse. Both of which are within 15-20 mins of the cottage. The cottage had everything we could ask for when cooking. The cottage is tucked into the pines. The bird feeder was fun to watch with all the different birds coming & going. If you're looking at this cottage to rent, there's no question, this is the place for you.

Beautiful stay!

We loved the views, access to the sandy shores of Lake Huron, and the hot tub. Our golden especially loved the water. The pictures donā€™t do the cottage justice. It is beautiful and a very comfortable stay. Thanks for sharing this little slice of heaven!

Real Vacation

A Must Stay!!!

This cottage on beautiful Lake Huron is absolutely amazing! It has everything you need to enjoy a fabulous time at the beach - which is conveniently located just outside your door. One of my absolute favorite times of this trip was sitting on the enormous deck with a cup of coffee, looking out at my favorite lake! The amenities in this cottage are spot on and we felt at home from the moment we walked in. And there is something for EVERYONE!!! Owners were great - attentive but giving total privacy. Definite 5 stars!!!
