Pros: all the staff we encountered were very nice and helpful. The grounds are nicely manicured. We didnāt try the pool but we noticed a large group of kids in there really enjoying themselves. We didnāt try any of the restaurants (we only stayed one night). The bed was comfortable and we enjoyed the casino.
Cons: unfortunately the interior of this hotel needs a deep cleaning. The hallway floors desperately need vacuuming and the microwaves in the ice vending machine area need to be cleaned & sanitized. Our room needed to be swept & mopped, dusted and sanitized. I like the idea of hardwood floors instead of carpet, but our floors were filthy. The tables were dusty, one was even sticky. The tray with the ice bucket was filthy...it had what looked like old food stuck to it. The bathroom floor was filthy. Although there was a mini-fridge in the room, we didnāt use it because it was filthy. Dark spots of what we think were mold were on the inside on the bottom and sides.
We paid over $200 for one night and needless to say we were very disappointed.
