"We had a small hiccup getting into the room (couldn't find entry code). Then, simply wonderful. Clean, simple, great location/ layout. We enjoyed the jacuzzi tub and worked perfectly fine to share the shower in the kids' bathroom. Loved "First Run" coffee shop and breakfast croissants! Don quickly and readily accommodated our request for late check out. Really appreciated the 6 inches of snow too!!! :)"

"Had a GREAT time here! House was beautiful and perfect! Trail was well marked and obviously well maintained. Creek out back was so nice to the ears, nice fire pit (didn’t use because it was rainy). "Everything was just right, easy, and lovely. Clean, well kept, perfectly stocked. It seemed to be recently renovated - nice appliances, modern heating and cooling units, new pots and pans. So many times when we travel there are little things that become stressors, but really this was just absolutely stress free."

"We really enjoyed this space Since it was "off season", there were hardly any people around, and we had the hot tub all to ourselves every time we went down to use it. LOVE that the windows had screens in them so we could enjoy that fresh mountain air! We will be back again next year!"

"Black Bear Lodge was a great location for a reunion of friends and family that have been skiing together for nearly forty years. We love Snowshoe and the lodge was exceptionally convenient to Cupp Run. We had 14 adults and two children and we were all comfortable.
