"We only needed a place to rest and sleep before we went to Mount Washington State Park. The motel provided us that place for our mentioned needs. The Innkeeper made a speedy check-in and gave us the room on ground level because of my bad knees which I appreciated greatly. "

"There’s no room service available at the Inn so after 4 days the trash was overflowing. We also ran out of toilet paper. Also, breakfast used to be so much better. They reduced the offerings of the continental breakfast and started offering items a la carte which is all fine but for the price, I’d expect at least some basic bread and butter at the buffet. It was a bit disappointing this time."

"Terrific place just outside downtown Carroll, short drive there or Bretton Woods. Kind and conscientious staff. Old-style motel, but well kept, and everything in good order. (Corpulent Americans be warned of small, modular shower.) "
