"My husband and I stumbled upon this lovely B&B after roughing it in the Acadia woods. It was a welcome respite. Thoughtfully appointee rooms, delicious breakfast and incredible staff. We enjoyed chatting with Steffan and learning about the history of the Inn. Truly a charming place. It was so charming we decided to stay a 2nd night (totally impromptu). What a special place! "

"We found this inn almost by accident. We were delighted! The staff were amazing and the innkeeper was very informative and responsive to all of our questions. The room was very comfortable, large, and homey. Breakfast each day was superb! When we come back to Bar Harbor, we will definitely stay at The Stratford."

"Our stay at The Primrose was absolutely amazing! We were greeted after a long drive to complementary wine and a tour of the beautiful Primrose before settling in for the night. "A perfect bed and breakfast just off the main streets of downtown Bar Harbor. Andy was the perfect host. Jeff was very friendly and helpful as well. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. Wine and cheese with other guests in the evening was fun. Parking on property was great, you can easily walk anywhere in town. Don’t sleep on this one. It’s better than the other one you are considering. "
