"What a wonderful little cabin, we enjoyed our stay so much. We spent most of the time relaxing on the porch and at the fire pit. Very peaceful and quiet area. Check in was easy and communication with the host was helpful and timely. The cabin was clean and well stocked. We would definitely return here!"

However, I would recommend better housekeeping since cleanliness was good, and would also recommend changing the main room mattress, since it was not comfortable. "A wonderful place to stay! Property was clean, stocked with the necessities, and the location was perfect: About 20-30min from downtown Boone, Blowing Rock, and plenty of hikes/overlooks on the Blue Ridge Parkway. The host was kind and communicative, and being right on the New River was amazing--each day, I was able to watch beavers, otters, deer, etc. all from the deck. Grateful I was able to stay here, and highly recommend if you're looking for a spot in Boone!"

"Beautiful location directly on New River. Cabin was well appointed but there was a slow leak at the base of the upstairs toilet. Not sure if the seal needs replacing or the toilet just needs to be tightened up a bit. Also, the seat needs to be replaced or tightened up. I would also recommend replacing the charcoal grill. One of the wheels is broken and wants to fall off when moving the grill. Other than that we enjoyed our stay."

"We enjoyed the quiet and remote features of this private Lansing oasis. Unfortunately while the gas fireplace wasn't working, we were able to run into town and buy wood for the wood burning stove. Definitely recommend for a winter getaway and know the gas fireplace will be repaired soon. Property manager was quick to respond and contact the appropriate maintenance staff. After working on the fireplace for a good hour, it was determined the controller needed replacing. Would certainly return for...

"Overall it was good. Initially, there was a smell when you walk in but nothing a little febreeze couldn’t handle. Had to wash our sheets because there was a bit of dog hair on them. Great place though and we enjoyed ourselves will definitely be back!"
