"Myself, my partner Andy and our dog Willow stayed Friday to Sunday at the chickens coop and we had the most relaxing & enjoyable time. Andy enjoyed doing a bit of fishing at the lake, catching a good sized carp, whilst I enjoyed walking around it with the dog. "For my purposes of visiting an unwell relative, it was perfect. However, if you don’t know the area it appears a bit run down. The appartments themselves have good security with cctv. I booked through travel site and found communication was not easy. I have a feeling the owners are new to letting their appartments so hopefully teething issues. "We booked and paid for 9 rooms at this property through VRBO. One of the team turned up at the property to find that there were no rooms - this property has not hired out rooms since October 2022. Still trying to get a refund through VRBO. Avoid at all costs!"

"Really enjoyed the stay, the yurt was great and the spa sort of expensive but at the same time where else gives you full ownership of a spa for 3 hours? Not many places so for that I would say it was worth it. Very clean shower facilities were great. "We didn’t even get to stay in the hotel waited 30minutes outside for them to tell us the people before damaged the property so we could not stay so they left a 18year old and 17 year old with no where to stay 3hours away from home so not the best visit if I say so myself and will not be going back "
