"I know a lot of the reviews have been negative but this lodge is just a simple, comfortable motel. The rooms haven’t been renovated so they’re a little run down but almost everything was spotless and the linens were clean. I’d say just some of the corners were a bit dusty and there were some hard water stains in the sink. The mattresses are a little saggy but were still decently comfortable. "We stayed the beginning of Sept. The cabin we rented was " Premium Cabin, 2 Queen Beds, Kitchen, Mountainside". It was recently renovated, cozy and clean. "Me and my husband had a wonderful stay of one night at this small and cozy space. "Our host Gary was on top of it and got us in earlier than we had hoped and even upgraded us to a nicer, roomier and cozy cabin. We stayed on for three nights but wished we could have stayed longer. The spa was wonderful on a cool frosty night or morning and was clean and well kept. "We were blown away with this clean, well stocked house. Everything was perfect and easy. We are warm and comfortable as we cooked and recovered from our outings and enjoyed the easy walks by the lake. Laundry, hot tub, grill… we used them all and carried the bear spray on our walks.
