Moosey Ridge amazing Lake Superior view from Ridge Rd w/ 2 car heated garage

What a view! Nestled high on the ridge overlooking the bay and Lake Superior, this completely remodeled house has real hickory hardwood floors throughout. It has a new cabin feel, all shiplap & tongue and groove walls and ceiling. All new high-end, stainless-steel appliances (refrigerator, stove and washer/dryer), quartz counter tops, hammered cooper kitchen sink, and leather furniture, including a pull-out sofa (queen). We offer a selection of K cups for the Keurig or if you enjoy drip coffee we do have a regular coffee maker as well. There are three smart TVs, total with amazon/netflix available. One TV in the King bedroom, one in the main living room and one in the kids living area (that has the pull-out sofa). For as beautiful as this house is inside, the outdoor space is more amazing. The kitchen, living room and queen bedroom has an amazing view of Lake Superior. Sit on the porch swing and sip coffee or wine all day looking at the beautiful blue hues of the water. Play corn-hole (game provided to use) in the side yard or bring your own outdoor games for the whole family. The heated garage has an additional refrigerator and outdoor grill all for guest use. Toward the back of the house enjoy fire in the firepit- we supply all the firewood you need. There are 3 heat sources for this house. One is 100% off-grid meaning it will work if the case of a power outage.

Great stay near pictured rocks
Beautiful property for our hikes around pictured rocks. Molly was so helpful and the property was perfect. Downtown grand Marais was very pretty with 2 great places to have a beverage and eat right on Lake Superior. Coukd not have asked for more. Definitely plan to return!!

Grand Marais Vacation
House was very comfortable and spacious. King bed was very comfortable! Beautiful view and had everything we needed! Very convenient to downtown. We would definitely stay there again.

Relaxing stay
We had a wonderful 5 day family vacation. Check in was smooth and easy. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook family meals. We did stop and get groceries with a cooler, and brought them with us from the lower peninsula. Groceries are limited in this area. The wifi worked great in the evenings when we got back from our adventures. The host communicated with us very well. She even offered us an extra night to keep our adventures going. This was very appreciated, even though we could not stay longer. We were able to bring our pup, Cleo, and she loved the hikes and beaches. She just was dying to get the squirrels that were taunting her! Thank you for the use of the cabin.

Lovely home away from home near town!
I loved our stay here. First, it is a fun walk to the downtown and beach, if you have no mobility issues. I come from a very flat area, so loved walking the hills with my dog. Which brings me to my second point, I loved how dog friendly the home (and area!) were. My kids loved that there were multiple places that they could watch TV. The kitchen was well-equipped. The kitchen window view and chair swing were delightful. And last but not least, the hosts were so accommodating and kind. We hope to return!

Beautiful Cabin & Wonderful Owners!
The cabin was lovely! Everything was clean and looked new. Beds were very comfortable. The view out the kitchen window was beautiful! Molly and Chet were wonderful. Molly's communication before and during our stay was excellent! She made suggestions regarding local things to do - all you have to do it let her know what you are interested in and ask her where to go do to it - sight seeing, tours, rentals! Highly recommend booking a Yooperlite tour/hunt with Molly & Chet while you are there - it was one of the highlights of our trip!

So grateful to Chet & Molly!!
Our first trip to see The Pictured Rocks, turned out to more dramatic than expected. We had booked a rental through Lake Superior Rentals (Great Escape House) for a 2 night stay with our dogs. 2 days ahead of arriving, I contacted their owner and no response. Had paid in advance and began to panic since it was a busy weekend in Grand Marais. No vacancies for pet friendly rentals. Called, emailed and messengered owner and was completely ghosted. She’s still in business though… just a jerk. So happy that I was able to get in touch with Chet about his dog friendly property. He rallied and got the place cleaned and ready for us with short notice. The pictures don’t do the place justice! The view is amazing and lots of space for the dogs to frolic! Clean, modern and beautiful hardwood flooring. He even set up firewood for a bonfire. Beyond that, they have a sweet swing and outdoor dining table that looked out to Lake Superior. Great people, great place and Grand Marais is a sweet little town. I wish we had time to stay longer to do the rock hunting tour with them. But it’s an excuse to go back!

Great location along our Lake Superior Circle Tour
This house was perfect for our family of four. We stayed one night while doing the Lake Superior Circle Tour. Very clean. Nice washer and dryer. Quiet location. Host was nice and responded quickly to any questions we had.

Gem of Grand Marais
First of all, the hosts, Chet & Molly were fantastic....great communication and helpful with our sightseeing! The cabin is adorable with all the amenities one would need. It is a couple blocks off the main drag, so we loved the peace and quiet. Enjoyed having my morning coffee on the wooden swing looking out at Lake Superior, was quite the view!

Wonderful visit
The property has a beautiful view down the hillside to Lake Superior. The owners were able to give us a scheduled at the last minute Yooperlite tour which will likely be the highlight of the trip. Highly recommend.

Lots of local wild life, bears and deer. The Property was super clean with a beautiful view of the big lake. The couch bed was very small & uncomfortable but they usually are. The Property owner was very friendly and promptly responded to my txts. We enjoying our stay and would stay again if needed but was too far from the rest of the family in Seney.
