The cabin is amazing. The kitchen is stocked with everything you could need including spices and condiments. The beds are comfy and the bedding is cozy. Plenty of blankets and pillows. I went with my 6 kids, 14,13,10,4,1,and 3 months. It was great for everyone. Upstairs is bigger than it looks in the pictures, the master bathroom upstairs is a dream. 2 shower heads in the stand alone shower, a huge whirlpool tub with jets, The owner has games in the closet under the stairs, connect 4 was a big hit for my kids, books by the tv, plenty of towles that are clean and bright and soft. Shampoo and soap in both bathrooms. And the heating took a bit getting used to, but once it kicked in with the radiant heating, its no joke. We stayed toasty even when it was in the teens at night. Thwir is a wood burning fire place that heats up the whole house really well for first thing in the morning. They provided the fire starter, but you need to get wood as the wood on the side of the hiuse is the neighbors. Their are a few stores close by, safe ways, mcdonalds, shopping, things like that. The little town about 8 mins away of Grand lake is so sweet! 2 little markets, lots of shops, ice cream places, and in the summer looks to be a fun place to swim! Down in Fraser, about 30 mins away, we found they had a rec center! Indoor rock climbing, an indoor pool with lazy river and slide, indoor trampoline park and gymnastics center, ping pong tables, and classes available for like 10 or 12 bucks a kid if you wanted them to have a lesson in gymnastics or swimming. Next door to the rec center is a little movie theater. Has like 4 screens. And down the road a bit, like a mile or 2, there is skiing, tubing, an out door ice rink. The town also has another ice skating rink called thw Ice Box. Huge skating rink out side, but covered. The bleachers had heaters so even when it was below freezing me and my 3 month old were warm sitting and watching them skate! The house is great! If i had to suggest an improvement or a diffrent perspective, i would say a baby gate for the top and bottom of the stairs. I know not everyone has small kids so its not a need for most people, but somthing i would have used for sure! Another thing that would have been icing on the cake, if there was a book with all the info in it about what to do in town and what was close. I mean.... we all have google right? So its not necessary, just added convenience to an already amazing house!
