This is a one of a kind property surrounded by the forest service. The cabin is a three bedroom, two bath, with laundry room and game room.The third room is the bunkhouse with two queen bunkbeds, pool table and video game. Huge deck, fire pit, horse shoes, pool table, video games, private sledding, hiking, hunting, motorcycle and Quad riding and camping. Bring your horses, pets and friends. Perfect for a quiet get away, ... you wont find another property like this! Always a relaxing time

We have been staying here for about 4 years. We love the location and the privacy it affords. We have three small dogs and they enjoy getting to explore outside all day. The cabin is spacious enough for more than two adults with enough sleeping and facilities to bring bigger families/groups here. The communication is always amazing and timely. Every time weā€™ve had a question or concerns, Craig has responded straight away. There is a pretty well stocked kitchen and grill. The bunk house has a pool table and arcade games. WiFi is available and works great. All in all, we will continue coming here, hopefully, for many more years to come!

Hidden Hideaway

We came up to escape the Phoenix heat for a week and this place was perfect! Hidden away so it was a peaceful respite from city life but close enough to Flagstaff to still run into town for any needs. We were also able to easily visit the Grand Canyon, Winslow, Williams and explore downtown Flagstaff on day trips. The kids and adults loved the games and enjoyed walks around the property. Would absolutely recommend for any family!

Enjoyable stay in the woods

We enjoyed being away from the hustle and bustle of Flagstaff but still within a quick drive. Wi-Fi was reliable for working remotely and we loved our escape from the Phoenix heat.

Another Great Trip

This was our second time staying at this property and is truly amazing. Itā€™s outside of town and surrounded by beautiful forest yet close enough to take advantage of everything Flagstaff has to offer. We loved the privacy and serenity. Truly an amazing property! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Craig is an exceptional host who is very responsive and informative. We were lucky enough to see elk on the property nearly everyday we were there! The location is perfect. Its about 12 minutes from downtown yet provide immense peace and tranquility. We can't wait to stay again!

Great hideaway

What a great place to stay if you want to get away to a quiet place. Stayed for two nights and loved every bit of it. The dog loved the ability to roam in the woods as well. We will be coming back. Thanks for making the stay easy and enjoyable!

Wonderful Property

This was a nice property. It was a nice space to have family and friends. Lots of room and places for people to gather together or separately. There was a space for people of all ages to visit or hang out. There was a nice deck outside, a courtyard area outside, inside space, and then the bunkhouse with a pool table and table top video game for the younger of the adults. The property had open spaces to be able to explore. It was peaceful and remote but still not too far from town. The property was clean and we really enjoyed our stay. Thank you Craig.

Forest Cabin

Amazing property with a beautiful peaceful setting.My Family loves this cabin. Very secluded property only one neighbor. Played flash light tag in the woods, it was a blast. If you need any help with anything the owner is very helpful. Great property any season.

Pros and Cons

The house was comfortable and the essentials were present, however the entire house and bunk house need a good dusting. The pantry was so full of cleaning supplies and bug spray we could not use it. Which was disappointing as we were there for several days. The outside is awesome , lots of room to play. Be sure your pets listen well , as there is no fence.

We spent our mornings sipping coffee on the porch, watching wildlife pass by, and our evenings stargazingā€”Flagstaffā€™s dark skies are unbeatable for this! Location-wise, itā€™s ideal. Just a short drive from the heart of Flagstaff, we had easy access to restaurants, shops, and attractions like the Lowell Observatory and Walnut Canyon. Yet, the cabin was far enough from the hustle and bustle to feel secluded and peaceful. We also took advantage of nearby hiking trails, and day trips to Sedona and the Grand Canyon were convenient from this base. Sitting under the stars after a long day of exploring was the ultimate relaxation! Overall, this cabin offered the perfect escape for those looking to disconnect and unwind. Whether you're seeking adventure or tranquility, this spot has it all. We canā€™t wait to return!

Seclusion in Flagstaff

This is quite possibly the best vacation rental weā€™ve had the privilege of staying at. Caring for 3 small dogs of varying disability makes taking a traditional vacation quite difficult these days. Thus, on the 30th anniversary of our initial voyage to attend NAU, my husband and I drove across the country with the dogs for a 2.5 week stay at this property. It exceeded our expectations in every way - the property is beautiful and private yet only minutes from Flagstaff. With just two of us, we only used the main house; however, the bunkhouse looked really cool for larger groups. My husband loved the second standalone full bathroom which no doubt is the one of Al Bundyā€™s dreams. After hiking in the mornings, it was so peaceful to nap on the free standing hammock on the side of the property or hang out on the huge deck watching the ravens play in the trees. We used the large propane grill and well equipped kitchen on the days we didnā€™t venture into town to eat. We even had the neighborā€™s senior dog (I think a golden retriever) stop by for a quick visit one day to check us out - it was quite adorable. While the water pressure isnā€™t what we are used to at home, knowing that they have to haul water to the property, we had no complaints. If you are looking for peace and privacy in a fantastic location, this is your place. We hope to be able to return again as this was a truly amazing experience.

Cozy Retreat in the Pines

Our family enjoyed three nights during our daughterā€™s NAU graduation. While we didnā€™t have time to use the property fully, we loved that it felt tucked away from the hustle of Flagstaff yet conveniently close. Our teen boys liked having their own space and shooting hoops. The beds were very comfortable, and we loved the ā€œouthouseā€ bath although it was far from an outhouse! We would absolutely stay here again if ever back in Flag.

Secluded Cabin in the woods

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at this secluded cabin on 10 acres. It is far enough away that you have total privacy but still being only 15-20 minutes from down town Flagstaff. The house is well staffed and we really enjoyed the pool table and video games. We cooked our own meals and made use of the grill outside. I spent many hours on the deck just enjoying being outside.
