"My fiancé and I stayed here over Christmas break for 4 nights. Snowboarded on Killington for 3 of those days. We were in close proximity to not only the mountain, but the shops to get our boards waxed and restaurants/bars. Those restaurants/bars were essential as this rental unit only has a microwave and mini fridge (as advertised). But for a place to just kick back and relax, clean up, and sleep. "Such a great cozy mountain cabin with a beautiful stone fireplace well stocked with plenty of dry wood and kindling- all that’s needed for the perfect après-ski setting. Add a glass of wine to the host-provided Vermont cheese and crackers and you’re set for the evening. Initially concerned that the cabin was right on Rte 100 but very quiet and peaceful. "The house was cute, and the location was good. We liked the woods and stream around the house and the quiet road it was on. The views of the woods out the windows were lovely. There were a few old board games for the kids, but not much else for them to do when it was raining. The TV worked well, and we had internet. "The property was exactly as advertised and clean. The pool was open and it was a good option to relax. The acces to parking was terrible - muddy, sandy, icy gravel. It is clear that nobody was thinking about this at all. The access to lifts was not ski in/out, but shuttle was great, and running all time!
