"Me and my friend stayed in the lodge during our visit to the Lake District and we absolutely loved it! The lodge was beautiful and felt very homey and the views were incredible. The property was clean and had all amenities included that we would need! We will definitely be back and I am 100% recommending the lodge to my family and friends! "

"I received a call 24 hours before our arrival (on New Years Eve),telling me the booking cancelled due to 'gas issues' in the apartment. I was told they would arrange for Expedia to search for alternative accomodation. I was ,however,scepital about this and proceeded to try and find accomodation myself,without success at such short notice. "Verry quiet and relaxing place."

"We had a great stay using this as our base to explore part of the Lake District, easy access to lakes and many fells in one direction and to vast beaches a short drive away in the other direction. Loved the jacuzzi bath to relax in after a long day walking. We found the stairs to be steeper than we are acustomed to and also smaller treads, but a good hand rail for support when going to bed with tired legs. Wifi struggled a bit on occasions with demand when trying to stream something on TV and...

"A thoroughly enjoyable holiday. The view from the house was lovely and a very comfortable place to stay. We loved the pool and swam most days."

We'd happily come here again."

"This was our 2nd stay at the hotel and overall we were pleased with the hospitality and level of service. However, they have now switched to a buffet style breakfast as opposed to waiter service. We felt the breakfast was not as enjoyable as some of the breakfast items were cold as they had been placed in the tray for too long."
