"I was here during Hurricane Helene. The owners contacted me right away about moving furniture inside (not a problem). The place is clean, cozy and cute. Kitchen fully loaded and I had lots of pots to fill with water (a hurricane was coming!) The beach theme throughout the place matched my vibe perfectly! Although the furniture upholstery needs a good make over, I loved the rattan! No candles or flashlight so I bought a pack of them for myself. Appreciated the big frig and the extra one outside....

"Loved the neighborhood.Good food and coffee shops within walking distance or just minutes away. Private parking right in front of the house. Easy drive, or Lyft to most of the sights and the French quarter. House was spacious and had great air-conditioning. House was super clean and the beds were comfortable. We forgot a personal item and the host' went out of their way to ship it to us. You couldn't be in better hands."

Boards on the back deck area and near the pool would noticeably sink in while standing on them. The pool was OK, definitely aged and not very clean. "Loved the location, decor, etc. Definitely is a "rehab to rent" upgrade on the house; they could at least take off the stickers from the windows and appliances. There was an issue with the water heater, but the host replied quickly with a solution. All in all was a very nice stay."
