"Lovely location and awesome views. Property was very comfortable and cosy. We're allergic to feathers so Sue made sure there were no issues. She took great care to think of our wellbeing. We are an older couple so comfort and ease of getting around the flat are important to us. The flat was well equipped and tastefully decorated. Thanks fir a lovely stay."

"A lovely large, clean, comfortable, well equipped property in a quiet location in southern Scotland. Host Nigel was very responsive and pointed us to some great walks close by. The large hot tub was private, relaxing, and well used during our visit. Highly recommended property and would book here again."

"We have just returned for a weekend at Holly Blue Lodge. The owners were great at getting in touch beforehand with very detailed instructions to find the place and for us to order our choice of cake! The lodge is clean and really well equipped with everything you might need. Whoever has decorated and furnished it has lovely taste - it is really pretty with a modern, chilled out feel. "

"The cottage was cosy and had everything we needed. A minor niggle, but it was a bit cluttered with cushions and throws in the sitting room - the throws just slid off the leather sofas and the cushions were too big and too many, so were surplus to requirements. The location suited us very well, with a host of lovely walks and places to visit nearby. We had a wonderful break and can recommend!"

"We had a good week at the property, it is a bit remote and shopping for food best done before you arrive at property or in larger village shops! Lovely gardens and beach for the kids, a bit rocky but kids loved looking in rock pools. The accommodation itself was spotless, very well stocked with kitchen equipment and appliances, we had the two cottages which made up the stables, so 2 kitchen and lounge areas, we tended to use the larger kitchen for eating and the smaller cottage lounge as it was...

"Kippford is a pretty village on a beautiful river estuary and the location of Thornleigh is stunning - a stones throw from the beach where we swam and paddle boarded. The house is very spacious and well equipped with amazing views to appreciate the sunsets. The house is comfortable rather than luxurious but that suited us perfectly as we could relax and feel at home and we have all agreed that we will make Thornleigh an annual event!"

With a large sitting room, spacious kitchen/diner, a separate dining room, and a second smaller sitting room with piano, there are plenty of options for getting together with your house guests.
