"The house was gorgeous and very comfortable. We did have to download an app to get a precise location which was unexpected, but easy enough to use. The beds were very comfortable and the location beautiful. If you are looking for a rural retreat in order to explore the beautiful scenery, it's a wonderful choice! Word of warning: careful with the upstairs windows as flies like to congregate on them!"

"Blinkbonnie cottage has been the perfect little base of operations for our day trips into various parts of Scotland. The location is peaceful and out of the way but central enough to get to pretty much anywhere in the highlands in an hour or two by car. "Lovely cottage with a beautiful garden, spotless and well-equipped. We received a warm welcome with a basket with bread, butter, milk, fruit and delicious home-made jam! Parking the car can be a bit of a challenge for the driver who is used to a steeringwheel on the other side ;-) Perfectly situated to explore both Edinburgh and Glasgow as well as the Highlands. This was our first visit and we would really like to come back sometime. "
