Valley of the Moon Getaway

3 Bedroom, 3 Bath, Incredible Views, Infinity Pool and Outdoor Entertaining Area

Enjoy incredible panoramic views of The Valley of the Moon, Kenwood and Santa Rosa at this private villa atop Trinity Mountain. This getaway is located in the Mayacama mountain range between Sonoma and Napa Valley, making it the perfect home base to fully experience all that wine country has to offer. It is just a 10 minute drive to the quaint village Glen Ellen or Kenwood, and under 30 minutes to Yountville, Sonoma and St. Helena.

ABOUT THE HOUSE

This Italian style villa boasts incredible views of wine country with legendary sunsets. You will feel like you are on a retreat as you enjoy the gardens and many outdoor amenities surrounding the house. The grounds are very tranquil and private, being situated next to the expansive and beautiful Bouverie Preserve.

Your stay will have you experiencing la dolce vita as you recline on your lounge chair, gazing out at the breathtaking landscape. Utilize the Outdoor kitchen equipped with a seating area for 10 people. In the summer, swim in our Infinity salt water pool. Relax into the evening, sitting under the pantheon style shade structure with outdoor lighting for after sunset.

The interior has ample natural light with sliding glass doors leading to a large balcony. Experience home comfort in the spacious family room with a flat screen television. Sit among friends and family in our dining room with a large farmhouse table set for 10 and step out onto the large deck with wisteria.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas stove and convection oven, granite countertops, and two walls of windows to enjoy the view even while you cook.

The 1st bedroom has a queen bed, dresser and walk in closet. Down the hall from the 1st bedroom and bathroom is a laundry room with washer and dryer.

The master bedroom is a charming space with California King bed, dresser, seating area and large bathroom.

LOCATION
Our villa is the ideal location to experience the vineyards, tasting some of the finest wines in the world.

Head into downtown Glen Ellen for a bite to eat at one of the delicious restaurants that include our favorites The Fig Cafe, Stars, Glen Ellen Inn, and Les Pescals.

There is plenty of hiking in the surrounding area, Sugarloaf Ridge State Park, Sonoma Regional Park and of course the Bouverie Preserve.

You’re just over an hour from San Francisco if you want to visit one of the greatest cities in the country.

A magical place! Our group of 6 loved the pool, hot tub, and majestic vistas-sunsets are unreal here! Made full use of the cozy kitchen and slept like logs each night. Plenty of room for us all. Loved every minute we stayed there. Many thanks to our gracious host.

Peaceful and relaxing
we had lovely time staying here. the hosts we friendly and accommodating (even came to meet and greet us). plenty of space for 6 adults. the outside is beautiful! we planned to stay in and cook our meals, and the well stocked kitchen and outside grill helped make our cooking plans success. entertainment room downstairs was added fun with pool table and games.

We loved our stay at this incredible home! The views and the sunsets are spectacular and we were in awe the entire time. The proximity to visiting vineyards was excellent. Close to Jack London State Park where we hiked a couple of days. We are happy we read the reviews and decided to have a day dedicated to relaxing by the pool and enjoying all the amenities. Great Home & Visit
We stayed for 5 days last week. The home is very comfortable, has a spectacular view and the pool is great. It was very hot - over 100 degrees - so the pool, shaded areas and the air conditioning in the home made it very relaxing and comfortable. The owners/hosts are adjacent to the VRBO and took care of any little issues that cropped up immediately. Would stay there again.

Gorgeous Stay!
My family only enjoyed 2 nights, but we wish we stayed much longer. We tried to take advantage of every wonderful corner of the property while we were there. We played billiards in the lower level with my parents and kids. The kids swam in the perfect salt water pool while my dad took photos of amazing sunsets and my mom relaxed under the pergola enjoying the views and wine. We appreciated having the A/C, but found opening the windows in the morning and evening was very refreshing. We spent one day at the Jack London Park - Glen Ellen is very close! The home had everything we needed and more. Thank you for the beautiful stay!

WOW!
If you are visiting wine country you MUST stay at Valley of the Moon. Our group of three couples just returned and we are all still raving about this property! It truly has one of the most beautiful views I have ever seen along with amazing amenities without the Napa resort price tag. We are already trying to plan another trip, so that we can bring the rest of our family to experience this incredible place! Thank you for your hospitality!
