"We had a lovely two night couples break at Kimbers Farm. The shepherds hut is so comfortable and just the right side of luxury rustic! Possibly the comfiest bed I’ve slept in away from home. The wood fired hot tub adds a sense of fun and is easy to use. We also enjoyed cooking outside (gas hob available inside!). The shower/toilet “block” is great, well equipped and clean. "Byemills is a great place to stay.we had such a restful and pleasant stay. Our hosts were brilliant and when there was a brief region wide power cut they were straight to us to ensure we had everything we needed. Easy walking distance to local pubs and a great historical stone circle at Stanton Drew. We loved our stay and made all the more special with it being Christmas. "

"Amazingly spotless, lots of room. Every room had a wow factor. Our first stay in a luxe Lodge and it didn't dissapoint. Slight issue with ants on the last day after the grounds maintenance but it's expected and spray was provided. Hot tub clean and ph checked every day. Reception were happy to help when we realised the first aid kit was missing and there was a cut finger. Brought it round straight away (in their defence we did decline the final check of the housekeeping team as we arrived...

"Our family of 4 had the best 3 night break away at Tor Farm. The lodge was immaculate and well equipped with the hot tub a bubbling welcome. Our check-in was swift and friendly and the location, although rural, is a brilliant base to explore in and around Cheddar. Watching the sheep and chickens graze was also therapeutic - i also spotted a few rabbits! The owners also sell fresh eggs provided by their happy brood. .their "

"We had a really great stay in this Shepherds hut and it had everything we needed. The breakfast bits were a nice touch. The plot is really private and the accommodation is clean and well kept.We also bought a bottle of their own wine, which they kindly delivered at short notice after a text message! Thanks again."

"The Shepherds Nest is the best Shepherds Hut we’ve stayed in, for space, amenities and for hospitality. It’s well built, furnished to a high standard and there’s a lot of thought gone into everything. Charlie and Carol were really welcoming and there were lots of little touches, and nice surprises on our arrival. The outside bath is great, in all weathers! We’d highly recommend."

"We were in the UK for a family event and needed an place for 6 adults for one week, this place was perfect. Located near enough to the events but far enough to give us some breathing room from the family. The cottage we clean and more importantly, warm on the damp country days and nights. The owner was accommodating because we had an early arrival from the US and when we suddenly found ourselves with an EV that needed charging. All in all a perfect place for a country getaway "

"This property exceeded our expectations. Beautiful location - far enough away to be quiet and peaceful but not so far away from anything that you felt stranded. Hot tub was amazing and very much appreciated at the end of each day when we had been out walking in Cheddar etc. Bed and facilities were all excellent. "We spent 4 nights at this lodge between 28Dec-1Jan and it was excellent. From check in to check out the process was seamless and we had everything we needed. Lodge was cozy, clean and warm and the bathrooms had actually been updated so were newer and nicer than the pics. Area was lovely and quiet. Had a carvery at the Cider barn restaurant about 5 min drive away and we drove into Weston Super Mare (20 mins) and got wristbands for the pier and did ice skating.
