It is an extremely comfortable cabin with an excellent location that provides a sense of serenity and solitude even though it is located mere minutes from many great recreational opportunities. The beds were extremely comfortable and clean. It allowed us to explore all that we desired while allowing for an easy return for a restful night."

"It is a gorgeous cabin. Nice, stocked kitchen and decent pots/pans/utensils. There are more beds than it appears in photos, which was positive for us. We brought along a camping cot just incase, but we were pleasantly surprised. There is lots of outdoor and patio space. We were pleased and would definitely recommend. "

"A few of my friends and I stayed at this cabin to celebrate a birthday and enjoy a bit of the New River Gorge. It was everything we needed and more! The location was convenient to the activities we had planned while giving us the true off the grid mountain experience. The hosts told us everything we needed to know about access/amenities/etc. and there was even a cute book outlining the history of the cabin. A great find and one we would consider renting again in a heartbeat!"

"Great place to disconnect from stresses of everyday life and enjoy a relaxing lifesyle. Creeks to splash in, river to float, mud puddles to splash in and dirt roads to adventure down. Everyone was so welcoming from liz, bars/restaurants, to the locals. The road up started the adventure and set the tone for getting away from it all. Id call it a primitive setting, no bells, no whistles, but just what we needed. If i did need a bell or whistle, liz would have procided it quickly. Cant say enough...
