"Host was great. Cobwebs and spider webs and spiders INSIDE the cabin were bad. Open exposed outlet hanging out in loft was throwing sparks when i tried to out cover back on. Thats where our Granddaughter was sleeping. Coffee maker was leaking water all over the floor. No dock, no swimming. Property has Major Neglect. With a little work this olace could be Amazing!!"

"First problem was the lock box combo is wrong. We came when it was just getting dark. My wife and I tried the combo multiple time’s still would not unlock. We had to use the emergency key. "First of all, I would definitely recommend this listing for anyone looking for a reasonably priced and well situated place on Smith Mountain Lake. Parking is great, the condo has everything one needs, and our stay was calm and quiet. That said, complaints about the bed in other reviews are warranted. "Julia's place was everything we needed. The kitchen is stocked very well with all dishes and pots and pans you would need to make a meal. She also provided coffee, tea and hot chocolate which was very nice. The neighborhood is quiet and a nice place to walk around and see the lake. Overall, it was a great place to stay and we would stay there again!"

"We enjoyed this rental so much last year for a girls weekend that we booked it a second time! We had a great time in Bernards Landing. The host is quick with his responses and super helpful. I knew I didn’t need to pack shampoo, conditioner, body wash because it was all provided. Slippers and spa robes were also provided. I love this condo!"
