Welcome to this cosy and charming getaway in the green neighbourhood of Gent! At only 5 minutes walking distance from the nature reserve "Bourgoyen-Ossemeersen , ideal for hiking. We offer you a comfortable room with king-size bed with ensuite private bathroom.

The Space:
The bright and spacious bedroom is perfect for a good night sleep in the quiet neighborhood of Gent. In the renovated bathroom you can find a comfortable walk-in shower and sink.

The charming bedroom is located in the owner's home. The room and bathroom is complete privacy, the terrace is partial.
In the cozy living room you can find a Smart TV. We also provide a small refrigerator, kettle, Nespresso coffee machine, glasses, cups and cutlery!

The entrance is a common area in the house that leads you to the bedroom.

Close to the beautiful castle of Gravensteen, you board a boat that will take you along the most beautiful places in Ghent. The shops are closed on all other Sundays and public holidays.

You can easily combine your city trip to Ghent with one of the seaside resorts on the Flemish coast. Knokke, Blankenberge and Ostend are a stone's throw away.

Ghent is easily reachable by car and train.

The price as determined when booking your stay includes the use of the accommodation and the furniture and household effects present, as well as consumption (water, heating, electricity, telecommunications and other facilities) and cleaning after check-out. The Accommodation is fully furnished, whereby 90% of the price refers to the property and 10% to the furniture. You can optionally purchase certain products and services from Huswell, which Huswell provides in its own name and on its own account.

LINEN IS NOT PROVIDED BY THE OWNER:
The owner of this accommodation does not provide bed and bath linen as part of the reservation total upon confirmation. High-quality bed and bath linen can be optionally ordered via Huswell after confirmation of your reservation.

KITCHEN ESSENTIALS:
The owner does provide a few kitchen essentials that will cover the first few days of your stay. This includes standard essentials such as coffee cups, tea, sugar, olive oil, salt & pepper, hand soap, dish detergent, one kitchen towel, cloth and sponge, one roll of kitchen paper, and one garbage bag. We also provide a few dishwasher tablets if a dishwasher is available.

HYGIENE ESSENTIALS:
The owner does provide a few hygiene essentials that will cover the first few days of your stay. This includes luxurious bathroom essentials such as shampoo, shower gel and hand soap. Toilet paper is also provided in the toilets.

CLEANING:
The accommodation has been professionally cleaned and prepared. After your check-out, the cleaning and inspection of the accommodation are included in the price. However, we do ask all guests to leave the accommodation in a tidy state to respect our hard-working cleaning colleagues.

INSPECTIONS:
The accommodation has been inspected as well as possible after previous guests' check-out and will be again inspected after your check-out.

MAINTENANCE:
The accommodation is maintained as good as possible, and any defect or damage should be reported immediately. If any maintenance issues arise, we ask for patience and understanding. The owner and Huswell will do their best to solve any issue as soon as possible.

Nicht durchdacht
Das Appartment ist momentan noch wenig durchdacht. Es gibt Teller, Besteck und Gläser, aber keine Spühle. Die Nespressomaschine hat nicht funktioniert. In den Schränken liegt noch Bauholz, es ragen Kabel aus der Wand - offensichtlich ist die Wohnung noch nicht wirklich fertig. Es gibt nur eine Nachtischlampe. Der Fernseher ist mit der bereitgestellten Anleitung nicht zum funktionieren zu bringen und hat lediglich eine Menge unsinniger Apps, aber keine die einen TV Programm sehen läßt, d.h. man hat nur Zugang zu z.B. der ARD Mediathek, abr nicht zum Livestream. Neue Apps lasssen sich nicht aufspielen. Die Hotline antwortet schnell, da sie die Gegebenheiten vor Ort nicht kennt ist ihre Hilfe aber überschaubar. Im Nachbarhaus wohnen zwei Hunde die ständig kläffen, wenn sie draußen sind (keine Ahnung ob die Leute da wohnen oder auch Urlauber sind). Die Ferienwohnugn sollte erst mal fertiggestellt werden, mit einer kleinen Küchenzeile versehen werden und der TV vernünftig eingestellt werden. Dann wäre der Preis gerechtfertigt. Im momentanen Zustand leider nicht.

Schönes Appartement am Rand von Gent
Stilvoll eingerichtetes Appartement, welches etwas unfertig wirkt und für Selbstversorger ungeeignet ist, da es über keine Kochgelegenheit verfügt. Es liegt am äußeren Rand von Gent, mit guter Verkehrsanbindung. Ein Bäcker oder Supermarkt ist fußläufig schlecht zu erreichen. Die Innenstadt ist dank der vielen Fahrradstraßen gut mit dem Rad zu erreichen, der Weg beträgt ca. 6,5 km. Direkt neben dem Haus befindet sich ein hauseigener Parkplatz, der nur von Gästen und dem Eigentümer, welcher sehr nett ist, genutzt wird.
