"The area was beautiful and very quite! We loved the cabin we stayed in. While we did run into some minor issues, staff was VERY accommodating and attentive. We hope to come back and would love to stay on the grounds again. They love dogs and that made us feel more comfortable. The pool was awesome, as was the arcade room for our younger members of the group! "

"First impressions count and we all thought the house was charming. It is quirky but that is part of the appeal. It is centrally located and easy to walk to all shops and restaurants. It was also very close to the parade on Memorial Day which was nice. The back garden is large and peaceful if the weather is nice enough to sit outside. Kitchen was well stocked and easy to use. "Perfect location to experience defining moments of America’s history. The home itself is a relic of the past yet is filled with all of the modern amenities for which we so casually take for granted. Within a short walk of the home is located an important battle location, shops, restaurants and many other landmarks of the past. The host was very responsive and our move in and move out could not have been smoother . Outstanding trip, a thumbs up and highly recommended."

"My family of 6 (4 kids between 5-13) chose this lodging for our first visit to Gettysburg. We found it was walkable, or a very short drive to the major museums and attractions. The decor inside was so thorough it rather reminded us of staying "in the park" at Disney, where the on-site hotels keep you feeling immersed in the experience. This place kept us in the 1860s vibes the whole stay. We would stay again!"

"Family from Oklahoma, Michigan, and Wisconsin came together and made some of the best memories here! Location was perfect- walking distance to attractions, tours, dining and shopping. The house itself is very comfortable- our favorite place was the front porch for morning coffee. Paul and Lisa were fantastic hosts. We just loved our stay and can’t say enough good things about it!"

"The house was very clean, and well equipped. Host was quick to respond to any questions we had during stay. Outdoor area was very relaxing. We thought listing had 2 1/2 bathrooms (not sure if we just read listing description incorrectly or if it is an error) but there is one full bath and one 1/2 bath. It wasn’t an issue for us, but think it should be noted. Overall we would definitely stay here again!"
