Immerse yourself in the Gettysburg experience while staying in our 520sf 1st floor apartment within an historic 1863 home. Newly renovated apartment with a completely new kitchen. Along the route Lincoln walked to the National Cemetery, 2 blocks from the center square and a short walk to the Steinwehr Ave district, the National Park, or a multitude of dining options. There is a trolley stop across the street at the Library for the 3 main historic routes. On lot parking available behind the house from High St. Bedrooms, full kitchen, and bathroom. Great location. Surrounded by Churches. Short walk to National Park, .4 mile in multiple directions. .5 miles to Gettysburg College, 11 miles to Ski Liberty Resort, 14 miles to great hiking along the Appalachian Trail to the west and north. 7 miles to Apple County USA.

Phenomenal location that cannot be beat! You're walking distance to every major shop/museum/attraction/restaurant on Baltimore Street or Lincoln Circle. But, by being at the center of action, you'll hear the traffic/pedestrians all night long. After a while though, it just becomes white noise. The historic building is very clean and well equipped. Comfortable beds. Cool rooms. Plenty of space for our family of three. Hosts were very responsive to any questions we had. We would 100% stay here again!

Very Historic

This was a great place to stay. Location is fantastic, within walking distance to everything. Apartment was very clean and organized. But you need to remember, this is a historic building, and on the main road. You WILL hear traffic all hours of the night especially trucks. So if you are a light sleeper, this is not for you. I would also suggest maybe some hooks or a place to put your clothes in the bathroom. Kitchen well stocked with pot, pans, dishes. Kuerig coffee maker, toaster and a regular coffee maker if you so choose.Would definitely stay again!

In the heart of it all!

Historic property right on the Main Street through Gettysburg. Could not ask for a better (or safer) location! 5-10 minute walk either way to everything a history lover would want to see (though drove to the battlefield bc it’s so huge).Apartment was pleasantly larger than anticipated, with a great amount of space for my 2 sons and I (and their army men battle recreation). Kitchen had basics, which was perfect for big breakfasts. Bathroom is huge with strong water pressure. Only suggestion is a comfy chair or love seat to collapse into after walking all day!Pete and Ben were also super responsive to my questions prior to trip. Would 100% stay here again!

Great location

We enjoyed our stay. Check-in was easy and location was fantastic. Could walk everywhere in town and was only a couple minute drive to the battlefield. Great place to stay for a weekend in Gettysburgh.

A much anticipated trip.

My husband and I were finally able to take our youngest kids (18 & 21 years old) to see the D.C. area along with Gettysburg. The place is literally on the corner of 2 major roads in town. I was a bit surprised how near the traffic was. It could be noisy at times but did not bother us too much. It may bother others who are light sleepers. We enjoyed the time at Gettysburg and this place worked out for us. It was a little tight feeling in the sleeping space with 4 adults but we had fun. We really enjoyed the full kitchen and how close everything was to the place. We loved just exploring the shops in town after finishing out battlefield tour.

Great stay!

Very clean and well maintained. Great parking. Walking distance to almost everything we wanted to do. Great communication with owners. Plenty of room for 2 or 3 people or family with 2 children. Our next trip we'll be staying here again if its available

Great little place

Accomodations were perfect. The space is welll kept and very clean. The bed was comfortable and the linens were fresh. The kitchen with stocked with everything you needed from pots to pans to dinnerware.

Girls’ Weekend

Super cute place. Felt very safe. Within walking distance to most things. Did not get check in information until 1-2 hours after check in. But I feel like that was an anomaly. The owners were otherwise very responsive and friendly. I would absolutely stay here again. And I would highly recommend this VRBO.

Christmas Charm

The location is perfect if you want to be near the happenings of town but not in the middle of the busininess. Cozy set up is perfect for 3-4 people. Everything was clean and orderly ready to set up and relax.

We stayed for Parents weekend. Everything was clean and as documented/described. We had no issues with our stay. Walkable to all the stores and restaurants in the center of town. Walkable to the Battlefield and Museum if you are conditioned to walks;, it’s a short drive.

Super Fun Family Weekend

We were so super excited for our family weekend getaway in Gettysburg! The apartment was PERFECT! We were able to park our car and walk to everything! The location was in the middle of everything and we walked to everywhere in town. The only time we used our car was when we explored the Devil's Den and the Sach's Covered Bridge. Absolutely loved the apartment just could benefit with getting some new pillows for the beds! We would definitely stay here again! defi

Weekend Anniversary Trip

Fri- Sunday Stay. We try a new place every 3-4 months at Gettysburg and found this within all the places we love. It was clean and big enough for us. Bed was way too soft and there was street noise but the location , cleanliness and overall safe location was great. We will be back.
