"Everything about the house is fantastic with great views across Lake Como. The hosts, Danielle and Marco were flgreat and greeted us upon arrival. We were very spoilt with a bottle of bubbly and delicious snacks. The house was a little further out of Varenna than we thought, but we love to walk and we think we left fitter than when we arrived. We would definitely recommend staying at El Lavandee."

"Excellent position at the top of the town. Cozy apartment and even though the heat wasn't allowed to be on yet for the season, it was certainly bearable on chilly October days/nights. Some people might dislike the church bells ringing in such close proximity but that never bothered us during our stay. "This apartment was in a wonderful location near the water, restaurants and food shopping. Plenty of parking and convenient to the apartment. The apartment had everything you’d need for cooking, laundry and restful spaces. There was a cute porch with a view of a small chapel, a castle and the lake if you stood close to the railing. This location was so beautiful and restful. A great getaway for a couple!"

"Es gibt ein etwas schwer, weil es eine steile Auffahrt gibt, zu erreichendes Grundstück. Nach dem Ausladen, kann der PKW aber auch gut auf der Straße geparkt werden. Das Haus war super sauber und hatte alles nötige. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Matratzen waren etwas weich und die Betten haben sehr auf jede Bewegung reagiert. Wir waren zu fünft und hatten ausreichend Platz. Eine Person musste auf der Couch im Wohnzimmer schlafen, dass war aber kein Problem."

"We stayed for 3 nights and wished it was a week. The apartment was as comfortable and the view as beautiful as advertised. We did not have a car But it was easy to get to and from the lovely town of Varenna by cab. Marco was a very gracious and helpful host I highly recommend this property. "

"Le propriétaire est venu nous chercher à la gare en automobile pour nous faciliter le transport des bagages. Nous découvrons la maison qui est propre, fonctionnelle, avec un jardin et une terrasse. Il fait chaud mais la climatisation nous permet de faire redescendre la température. Toutes les prestations présentées sont effectives.
