Ba Roos - Exuma's Dreamiest Lux Beach House/On the Beach w 350ft of Beachfront!

Located on the white sandy beach of Tar Bay and situated on four lots with over 350ft of beachfront, Ba Roos is the perfect beach rental for a Caribbean getaway. Enjoy the breathtaking views of Tar Bay while relaxing in one of Exuma's most sought after luxury beachfront properties.

The main house offers a king master suite along with a king en suite and a custom bunk room that can sleep four. A spacious detached seaside bungalow with a full bath is steps away from the main house and is perfect for additional guests such as a nanny or the in-laws. Each of the four bedrooms is fitted with pillow top beds and luxurious linens for a dreamy sleep.

Ba Roos offers a well appointed and open floor plan for easy entertaining and tranquil ocean views. The fully equiped kitchen is fitted with the most up to date in kitchen trends and can accommodate a night of gourmet cooking or just a morning cup of coffee. Step outside and you'll be greeted by a vanishing edge pool overlooking the ocean and an outdoor lounge and grill for "island style" dinning. Ba Roos is protected from the road by natural island foliage and a rock cliff driveway. The natural incline drive and placement of the house provides guests with the perfect amount of privacy from the road and distant neighbors.

Ba Roos' most recent addition, Boozy Roos Beach Cabana Bar just steps from the main house. Enjoy your own private bar and relax on your own private beach away from strolling beach goers. Along with the addition of Boozy Roos our guests and relax on the oceanside patio or take a stroll on two miles of secluded beach occupied by Tar Bay homeowners. Guests will find two kayaks, two paddle boards, hammock and resort style beach umbrellas and chairs. Ba Roos is pure island luxury.

Family vacation
This was our third trip to Exuma and each time we fall in love with the island more and more. BaRoos is an amazing property on Tar Bay convenient to airport and town. We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful beachfront property with our adult and teenage children. Getting down and back up from the beach is a little tricky due to lack of stairs so this would be something to keep in mind if you have folks with mobility challenges joining you. The house was well equipped and the beds are super comfy. Amazing views from the two masters, kitchen and family room that take your breath away. Highly recommend BaRoos!

You won't want to leave!
I researched a lot of properties and vacation spots before we booked this trip to the Exumas. We definitely chose the right spot to make a memorable experience for our family. The home location was perfectly situated on the island, close to the airport, halfway up so that we could easily explore in both directions. The house is beautiful and just as described. Easy to just relax in the pool and beach and take in the gorgeous views. We did have a little problem with the AC not working for a couple of days, but the property manager helped us get comfortable with fans and was able to get it fixed as quickly as they could, they were very accommodating and communicated great with us. We will definitely keep Ba Roos on our list for future vacations...my family agreed that this was the best beach vacation we have taken and cannot wait to come back some day!

WOW! What a dream house!
This house exceeded our expectations! It’s incredible! No detail is missed. The kitchen is fully stocked — just make a quick run to Smitty’s around the corner and you’re ready to go! The views are breathtaking. It’s truly a dream house! And, the location was fantastic! Close to everything. We would love to stay again!

Favorite stay on the island
We've come to Exuma 7-8 times over the last 12 years. Ba Roos was by far our favorite place we've stayed. Everything was perfect and we were so sad to leave. All future stays will be booked at Ba Roos. Simply spectacular.

Amazing Vacation!
This was the most amazing home with incredible surrounding views of Exuma's gorgeous blue water! Comfort, beautiful design of home was perfect for our family! Beds were comfortable, kitchen was well stocked and spacious, every detail was perfect! We will definitely come back!

Paradise and Glorious Stay
Baroos met (and exceeded) all our expectations. The house is stunning and the layout is perfect, giving everyone space but also plenty of room (outside and inside) to gather and catch up. The outdoor area is spectacular. The pool was great to sit by and relax and read a book and sleep. We took the very short walk to the beach and floated around in the rings. Paddleboards, kayaks and float devices area all easily accessible and ready to use when the water cooperates. The beach is essentially private and we only saw a couple other people during our entire stay. It was a perfect 5 days and I wish we had stayed longer. You won't regret staying at BaRoos. I would also like to suggest hiring Khristont (private chef) for a night. He was incredible and was the best meal we had. Dena (Dena's donuts) is also amazing for breakfast delivery and dinner. Thank you for sharing your lovely home, BaRoos!

Great location, well-appointed, great floor plan
I hesitate to write this review as I want to ensure Ba Roos doesn't get too popular it becomes difficult to book. :-) Given the owners dedication to building this property, it is the right thing to do and write the review. Been to Exuma a few times (Little Exuma all times) and we enjoyed being on Great Exuma and also Tar Bay. Centrally located and convenient. During August, even though there were winds, Tar Bay was swimmable. House floor plan is stretched out so even if there is activity in common areas, bedrooms don't hear it. Bedding, mattresses, towels and linens were comfortable. House was well appointed outside and inside for lots of enjoyment. I share the sentiment of another reviewer that it is so well situated and appointed, it was difficult to find reason to leave. Well done Ba Roos!

Absolutely Stunning!!!
Words cannot even describe how beautiful this property is! This was our group's third trip to the Exumas and this house does not even compare to the other houses we stayed at. The views are somehow even better than in the pictures. The house is pristine, extremely well maintained, and was spotless when we arrived! The actual property is huge and felt like we were on our own tropical island! The landscaping is immaculate and the inside decor is beautiful! It came equipped with everything you need and we appreciated even the smallest details that were thought of (such as the insulated cups that kept our drinks cold :) Both the owner and property manager were extremely responsive with anything we needed. Thank you for an unforgettable vacation! We will be coming back and will definitely be staying here again!!!

We enjoyed a fantastic return visit to beautiful Ba Roos! Five days in paradise and it was hard to leave! Ba Roos is gorgeous and so roomy…perfect for our family of 9, which includes 2 teens and a five year old. Love the new gazebo/bar area with its fantastic view. Hope to return very soon! Our party consisted of three generations, ranging in ages from 9-70s. Ba Roos was an absolute dream, on the most perfect beach. Of all the excursions and island exploring we did, we agreed our favorite part of the trip was just floating in the ocean behind the house. The house was well equipped with everything you’d need. We used the owner’s recommendation for provisioning so that the fridge was already stocked when we arrived, which I highly recommend.d The layout of the house allowed for everyone to have their separate spaces, but still come together in the beautiful spacious great room. We made amazing family memories and hope to return soon.

Underwhelmed......
Starting with a positive- Tar Bay is beautiful. Now, for the facts: This was our 3rd trip to Exuma. We love it. The property itself is nice. Not the best place we've stayed, nor the worst place we've stayed. Upon arrival and meeting with the property manager we all felt as though she was giving rules to a bunch of spring breakers, which we are not. 2 of us nearly 60 yrs. old and 2 nearly 80 yrs. old. There was a issue with the grill and we were told upon arrival that one would arrive in a couple of days. A couple of days went to 6 when one arrived and we left on day 7. Having a working grill is imperative for a beach vacation. The grill on hand was on it's last leg and took 30 minutes to cook a thin chicken breast. So, it was basically worthless. Many texts from the property were responded to promptly but with excuses. Ideally, a back up on hand for every amenity would have been available. Especially a crucial one such as a grill. Not everything can be prepared using a kitchen range. We spent hundreds of dollars for beautiful meats from Prime Island only to be frustrated every evening on how we were going to prepare them. The kitchen had a few skillets that were long past their prime also. The grill ordeal in and of itself made our vacation stressful. This was my in-laws last vacation anywhere due to their age and we wanted it to be a nice as possible. The owner did have someone drop off supper on our last evening. Ending with a positive-Tar Bay is beautiful.

Perfect House - Perfect Vacation
Ba Roos is an amazing property that is managed incredibly well. Ayana from Island Concierge made booking all of our activities, buying groceries, and transportation a breeze. Esther, the house manager, is extremely friendly and helped answer any and all questions swiftly. Chef Renauldo and Del made each meal memorable. Highly recommend Ba Roos! We will be booking again for next year.

For those seeking an Oasis for a few days look no further. We attempted to generate a list of things about the property and location that could be improved upon but struck out. After 5 nights no one in our group was ready to leave. We hope to return again in the near future.

Best Vacation Ever
Ba Roos was even better than the pictures if that is even possible. The view is spectacular. The house was amazing, bright and perfect for a friends trip with every couple having their own space. Access to the beach couldn't have been much better and you have a very long beach to walk on which we did every morning. I highly recommend this property and would come back again in a heartbeat!
