This cozy cottage is perfect for a getaway with family, friends, or just you and your partner! This lakeside property has an outdoor grill, fire pit, and endless views! It is also located on the Seneca Lake wine trail just minutes from some of the best wineries and breweries the Finger Lakes has to offer! Treat yourself and your loved ones to a special and fun Finger Lakes vacation!

The Space:
This newly remodeled seasonal cottage sits above Seneca Lake and offers the most amazing views! The massive fenced in yard allows for everyone, even your furry friends, to enjoy the outdoor amenities! BBQ with a view, roast marshmallows over the fire pit or gaze up at the stars in the dark night sky! *No lake access, but lake access will be available in 2025*

Through the front entry way you will find a fully updated open concept living, dining and kitchen. The living room has a sectional perfect for everyone and a smart TV for all your favorite movies and shows. The dining room not only has enough comfy seating for everyone, but is another perfect place to enjoy the view. The kitchen is modern with state of the art appliances, and plenty of counter space for cooking with family and friends.

At the back of the house is the king bedroom with a smart TV, sliding glass doors to the back deck and amazing views of the lake. Towards the front of the house is the newly remodeled full bath with a shower and tub as well as a spacious bedroom with 2 queen beds and smart TV.

The town ordinance, only allows 2 cars to be parked in the driveway. Any extra cars can be parked in the lot before the railroad tracks.

Pets are allowed, but pet fee is required. Host must be informed prior to stay if guest is brining pet.

Neighbors live here all year long, please be respectful of them. The town has an ordinance of quiet hours, between 10pm -7am, it is enforced.

Our Train/RR crossing: we love our trains & barely notice/hear them. They pass infrequently & have no regular schedule. They are not required to blow their horn @ crossings, so please be careful to stop and look both ways whenever crossing the tracks!

Beautiful Sunset
Beautiful views of the lake, especially at sunset! Very pet friendly with a big fenced in yard. Modern and clean. Only suggestions would be having screens on sliding glass doors and fire pit tool. Thank you for a great weekend!

Lovely location on the lake
The house/location was lovely; only issue was our arrival in cold and wind and the minimal heating was inadequate. Owners contacted and we received additional heaters and all was well. High marks for the owners.

Relaxing with Beautiful Sunsets
We were able to stay at this property for a full week with our two dogs. The yard is completely fenced in and faces the lake so we could spend our days on the deck with our pups. It’s quiet, clean and comfortable. Saw some cool wildlife from the backyard including an eagle. They have great internet, no issues streaming content. Kitchen has any utensil you would need. Grill is large and gas so didn’t require purchasing charcoal. We will definitely look to stay again!

Peaceful perfection
Everything was great. We had a super relaxing weekend. The fenced yard took away all of the stress we would normally have with our dogs there. The house was perfect and the king sized bed was dreamy.

Get away to the Finger Lakes
We had a great stay at Sunset on the bank, the cabin was perfect for our stay. Large open space with great views of the lake and check in check out was seamless. One improvement note for the owners, a couple entry mats right inside the front door would great to wipe of bottom of shoes before placing them in the cubbies, which were great to have.

Geneva cottage on the lake
Overall we enjoyed our stay in the cottage. The location is great, private with friendly neighbors along the road while walking our dog. It was so nice to have a fenced in yard for our pup. The deck is fairly new and has comfy furniture and a great view of the lake. Inside was clean with a nice kitchen, bathroom and sun porch. Beds and furniture very comfortable. The location is perfect to visit all of our fav Finger Lake locations, and we found a few new ones too. We were disappointed that the 3 sets of sliding glass doors in the sunroom/bedroom were older and none had screens. Only one window in the sunroom had a screen. It would be an awesome room fully screened and was the main reason, along with the yard, we chose the cottage. The bathroom could use more storage and hooks. Neither room has a place to hang clothes, hooks in the bedrooms would be nice. There was also an unusual amount of flies in the cabin, maybe because of lack of screens. Chris was great to deal with the whole way, responding immediately to all concerns and stopping by to bring a few needed supplies (along with ice cream!) She made sure our stay was enjoyable which was very much appreciated!

Great place to relax
This house has great views with a huge fenced in yard for kids and dogs to play in. Highly recommend this place if you are looking for a vacation in the finger lakes area!

Our stay was everything we wanted: peaceful setting, beautiful lake views and some gorgeous sunsets. The house was well appointed and very clean. The new deck was a lovely surprise! We would rent again.

Lake Getaway
This property was the perfect spot for our short stay. The house has been recently updated and is stocked with anything you might need. The deck overlooking the lake was the best part for us. It is beautiful, very quiet and serene. The fenced in yard is a nice bonus for pet owners or those with chidren. It was a treat for my 86 year old mother and she no trouble getting around at all.

Property holds true to its name. The sunsets were stunning every night. Booked the property for the peace of mind of a fenced yard with a dog, who enjoyed roaming around but we would have appreciated the grass cut prior to our arrival. Overall it was a great, peaceful stay we were comfortable, the fire pit was enjoyable and it’s super close to dog friendly vineyards and the state parks.

Beautiful location
This home is a refurbished cottage, close to the water with a beautiful view. The kitchen is well stocked with new appliances and any cookware or serving items that could be wanted. The bathroom is small but completely remodeled. Bring your own hair dryer. The bedrooms have nice beds and pillows, very comfortable. I wish there was a place to hang hanging clothes. Only the hooks in the entryway are available for that purpose. We very much enjoyed our stay, and hope we can repeat it in the future.

Spectacular
Awesome location, great communication with owner and tranquil setting. We had almost given up on VRBO due to several reasons but decided one more try. The location was quiet and private and there was very little traffic on the lake. Fenced yard for our puppy, lake view and walk/short drive to 2 wineries and a brewery. Loved it!
