Cozy cabin w/ hot tub, nestled in the woods - conveniently minutes from downtown

Fireside Villa Retreat is nestled in the woods of Big Ridge Mountain Resort. Just minutes away from attractions and restaurants but yet very peaceful and serene. This cozy villa can sleep up to 5 guests. Enjoy the wood burning fireplace and a movie, play some of your favorite board games, or soak in the hot tub — there’s fun to be had by all.

🌟 Just 3 miles to Ripley’s Aquarium & downtown Gatlinburg
🌟 4 miles to Smokey Mountain National Park
🌟 11 miles to Dollywood & Pigeon Forge

This rental is for the entire villa so you will not see me and there will not be anyone else in the cabin. Should you have any questions or concerns, I will be available through text, call or Airbnb messaging.

The cabin is located on Big Ridge Mountain. This is a wooded quiet area with seasonal views. The mountain also has a community pool/club house available for your use.

Entry into the cabin will be via a keypad lock. You will receive a unique code prior to check-in.

You will have access to the entire home - open living room (sleeping arrangements via pull out sleeper sofa couch and an air mattress), kitchen and dining room, master bedroom (sleeping arrangement via king size bed) & jacuzzi tub, stand alone bathroom, deck with hot tub, and spacious yard.

The nearest airport is McGhee Tyson Airport. The Gatlinburg trolly is a great option for downtown areas. Gatlinburg also offers taxis, Uber, and Lyft.

Wildlife is common in this area. Please be aware of bears, coyotes, turkey, and foxes. It is important that there is no food left outside with the exception of the latched trash bin.

Fabulous view and cabin
3rd time to this cabin in 2 years. That says it all. Planning to come back this fall. I Drive down from Indianapolis. Minutes from Gatlinburg yet feels as though far away on mountain. Able to see bear in park. Was able to go to Cherokee park as well. Saw elk. Don't have bear or elk in Indiana. 5 stars

Family Vacay
Overall this cabin was great for what we needed. I was so thankful that I was able to find a cute place that allowed my two dogs to stay with me and my significant other. It was tucked away in the woods and nice and quiet. We cooked in a few nights and we had almost everything we needed in the kitchen. The hot tub was wonderful and the jacuzzi tub in the room was a nice touch as well. The cleanliness was good. There were a few things that I noticed but not worth mentioning. Overall it was a great spot to stay for your mountain getaway.

Home away from home
This property is even better than the pictures, it’s absolutely beautiful, quaint, cozy and we felt right at home. We loved the mountain/cabin themed (very fitting), it has everything you need and more and we loved how it was tucked away, but still very close to downtown. It was quiet and peaceful and everything a little escape should be. It got us talking about how we’d want a cabin just like this one if we ever got a home in the mountains. We loved our stay and if we decide to come back to Gatlinburg at some point (very likely) this is definitely where we’ll be staying (:

Small but charming
Small but had plenty of room for 2. Updated and charming decor with a large deck but the views weren't the best. It's 5 minutes away from all the shops and restaurants so it's location is very convenient. Overall I would stay again we enjoyed our time there!

We loved our little cottage to escape reality for a few days! The hot tub overlooking a beautiful view was the main draw to me, and it did not disappoint! Inside was very clean, cozy and decorated very cute. Our only complaint was the water heater- we tried taking a bath in the sweetheart tub and were unable to get the water hot enough to enjoy it, so back to the hot tub we went! Everyone in Gatlinburg was so nice! We will be back!

Great Stay
The cabin was very well equipped from the extra touches of coffee and cocoa to the comfy king size bed, the cabin felt very homey. The cabin is in a great location, far enough away from the crowds of Gatlinburg yet only a 5 min drive.

We loved our Christmas get away
This cabin was amazing. Everything was so nice and clean. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and utensils if anyone is planning to cook. I definitely used the hot chocolate stand and coffee cart. My one small issue was that the water heater seemed to be too small for the heart shaped tub and it would on fill about a 1/4 of the way before it went cold. It was okay though because the hot tub was amazing. Will be staying here again!

Perfect Vacation
This property was perfect for my spouse and I and my two dogs. We especially enjoyed the porch and so did they! The kitchen was fully stocked and the coffee bar was a good benefit! We totally recommend this cabin for a short or even a long vacation!

We had a pleasant stay. We found the bed to be comfortable, which is important to us. And we had a few days where it was getting colder, so we really enjoyed the fireplace. It's just cozy, sitting in front of a fire. Be aware, they only had logs and a lighter. So, without kindling and some paper or some other way to start the fire, it was pretty difficult to get a fire started. But we managed, with much patience, and by gathering some sticks and leaves from the woods. So keep that in mind; if you want a fire, you may want to bring something with you. We had only one hiccup -- the shower drain was clogged, which we discovered upon the first shower, the evening of our arrival. Even after 12 hours, the tub was still mostly full of soapy water. We notified them of the issue the same night of our arrival. And, after a few messages back and forth with management, it was fixed around 4:00 pm the next day. So my wife could not get a shower before went out, a bit after noon. But we were able to get showers the next evening, after our long day out and about. We also wished we had a broom to sweep off the deck; but we didn't see one. It was a bit messy and it was easy to track debris into the house. And if you wanted to use the hot-tub, you would have to deal with it when you walked from the hot-tub back inside, in wet bare feet. The few issues we had were minor. So, overall, it was a nice stay. And we will certainly keep this place in mind, next time we are in the area.

Cozy Get Away

The Proposal
Beautiful cabin and loved the stay. I actually proposed to my fiancé in the cabin so thank you so much for helping me and being a part of our memory. However the tub in the bathroom would not drain in a timely manner, there were no battery’s in the TV remote, and the hot water heater isn’t big enough to accommodate a single bath in the soaker tub. None the less it was a wonderful experience and a lovely cabin. This is a vacation me and my fiancé will cherish forever

Great stay in great location
This cabin was a perfect layout for my wife and our small dog. We loved the pine paneling throughout that made it feel like we were in the mountains. We enjoyed having the hot tub on the deck, which was very relaxing to use at night and the rocking Adirondack chairs as we gazed over the woods. Great location with easy, quick access to area amenities.
