Good Directions is a 2700 sq. ft. luxury cabin with all wood interior, located on Ski Mountain’s Chalet Village area, with beautiful mountain views. A pull through driveway easily accommodate up to four vehicles.
Good Directions is equipped with all the amenities you desire. The cabin sleeps 10 with three master bedrooms, two with king beds and one with 2 queen beds and loft sleeper sofa. Challenge family and friends to a friendly game of pool in the game room, watch the big game on the 65 inch Roku TV in the theater or unwind in the hot tub or deck furniture while taking in the natural surroundings and mountain views. Wireless high speed Internet access is available, as well as cable TV with premium movie package.
Good Directions has 3 spacious decks to enjoy the peaceful mountain views and maybe have a glimpse of the deer, bears, turkeys and other animals from the nearby Smoky Mountain National Park. Guests also have access to 3 community club houses in Chalet Village that offer swimming pools, tennis courts, workout room, bathroom and changing facilities, indoor game rooms, snack and drink machines and ample free parking. The Gatlinburg Trolley Station with parking is down the road and available for car-free shopping, dining, and entertainment in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. It also goes into the park for hiking on a paved trail to Laurel Falls and to the Visitor Center. If you like to explore on foot, the park offers everything from short nature trails to longer back country hikes. The park is filled with trails, waterfalls and an abundance of wildlife. Horseback riding and trout fishing are also favorite outdoor activities in the Smoky Mountains.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
1. What Linens are included? – We provide linens for beds, bath towels, and wash cloths.
2. What household supplies are provided? – We get you started with a small shampoo, conditioner, hand lotion and 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, as well as a roll of paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher pods, kitchen trash bags and laundry detergent bag. Please note that this is a standard starter pack and guests will have to provide anything beyond this, should these items run out, as stay durations do vary.
3. What does the kitchen include? –The kitchen is stocked with everything you would expect in a normal kitchen plus a blender, toaster, slow cooker, various size pots & pans, wine glasses, a Keurig, and a regular coffee pot.
4. Do you provide a grill? – Yes! And it is charcoal.
5. Do you provide firewood? – No, be sure to pick up some up, as well as starter logs at the grocery store or gas station on your way in.
6. Do you allow pets? – NO. Under no circumstances do we allow pets.
7. Is the hot tub cleaned after every stay? – Yes! Our hot tub is drained, cleaned, and refilled for every stay.
8. Is there a community club house and pool area? – Yes, in Chalet Village, we have 3 community pools and clubhouses. The pools are open from Memorial Day Weekend in May through Labor Day Weekend in September.
9. When will I get the address and cabin access info? - Address, door code, and driving directions will be sent in a separate message prior to your arrival.
10. What time is check-in and check-out? – You may check in any time after 4pm and you must checkout prior to 10am on the day of your departure.
11. Do you provide travel insurance? - If cancellation is a concern, we do recommend the purchase of Cancellation Protection from CSA (this does not go through us).
12. Can I cancel if the weather is bad? – Cancellations due to weather will not be refunded.
13. What TV package / channels do you provide? – Cable TV through Spectrum including HBO and Showtime. Roku TV's in each bedroom, living room, and game room (Bring your own streaming service passwords to watch on Roku).
14. What type of internet to you provide? – We provide unlimited cable internet with Wi-Fi.
15. Are there any days where Check-in or Check-out is not permitted? - The only 2 days that we do not allow check-in or check-out is Christmas Day and Thanksgiving Day.
