As the owners of Southern Vieux Cabin, we are thrilled to share our mountain-side sanctuary with any couple or small family searching for a private and charming getaway. Our cabin is the ideal place to unwind on your honeymoon and create lasting memories as you enjoy the romantic beauty of surrounding nature. While Southern Vieux Cabin lies tucked away in the wooded wonderland, it also provides easy access to the city’s nearby restaurants, grocery stores, and shopping in the arts and crafts community, guaranteeing you every desired aspect of your vacation.

Southern Vieux Cabin allows you to rest in the quiet paradise with its beautiful king bed loft bedroom, 2 full bathrooms, well equipped kitchen, and living room containing a queen sofa sleeper. The master bedroom and bathroom offer the most romantic setting and beautiful mountain views while lounging in the king-sized bed and relaxing in the heart-shaped Jacuzzi tub. The sunrise and natural lighting begs you to enjoy a morning cup of coffee from the comfort of the bed while beholding an enchanting view of Mount LeConte.

However, the master bedroom and bathroom is not the only place to soak in the natural bliss of the mountains’ embrace. Enjoy the intimacy of the cozy fire among the gas log fireplace, or become mesmerized from the private hot tub and 2 rocking chairs on the balcony overlooking the Southern Views, wooded mountain, and ample wildlife. The balcony and fireplace add to the romantic and private setting you are looking for, perfect for sipping on an early morning cup of tea or a late night glass of wine.

Our wooded oasis lies amid a flat parking drive without any steep roads on the drive up, offering easy access to the door; and it provides attractive amenities including a functioning washer and dryer, pool table and Pac-Man multi-gaming system for friendly competitions, and a charcoal grill with surrounding grassy areas perfect for casual cookouts and picnics.

Perfect Stay In The Smokies
My husband and I stayed at the cabin for 5 days while exploring and hiking in the Smokies. It is nicely located for visiting both Gatlinburg and the national park. The cabin was very clean and well equipped. While there are other cabins near, it feels very private and was quiet. From the deck you can't see any other cabins. After a day of hiking the hot tub was wonderful! The host was quick to respond to a question and provided recommendations for area restaurants. We had a really nice visit and would happily return to this cabin if we visit the area again.

Perfect Getaway
We were looking for a quiet cabin so we could get away from the crowds. This cabin was perfect for the two of us. Close enough to the heart of everything we wanted to do, but far enough away to relax. My husband (large man child) enjoyed the video game console.

July 4th Week Stay
The cabin was located remotely enough to where we felt we had plenty of privacy. The drive into town was roughly 13-15 minutes and the scenery was very beautiful. The cabin had everything that we needed and everything functioned efficiently.

Wonderful Cabin and Host
We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again. Cabin was extremely clean, one of the best hosts I have had, the neighbors are quite, and even though there is another cabin on the left the back deck is private with a beautiful view. I would have rated this property a 5 if the downstairs shower was working correctly. The shower basicly has no water pressure and makes it difficult almost impossible to shower. There is just enough pressure for the water to run down the handle and spout attached to the front wall. Once we discovered this we just showered in the bathroom upstairs where there is plenty of water pressure. Not a big deal for us since it was just the 2 of us, but if you have 4 in your group you may need a properly working 2nd shower. The issue with the shower did not take away from our experience and we loved our stay at the cabin.

Wonderful stay
I love going hiking in the Smoky Mountains. Took a short 3 day vacation getaway and found this lovely cabin. As I've gotten a little older, I've grown to enjoy more comfortable stays and extra amenities, such as a hot tub, after a day of hiking. The heart shaped jacuzzi was cute, as well. This place is very lovely. Close enough to everything, yet a little secluded and away from everything. I highly recommend and look forward to another stay in the future. I will mention one thing: the little incline road into and out where several cabins are located, while not really steep, is, as far as I could tell, one way in/out. This road is narrow for two cars. While I didn't run into a situation of meeting a car going up or down, it is possibility. Not really an issue, but something I've noticed. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Kidds cabin
Cabin was spotless. Hosts were very easy to work with. Location was great. Views were great. Quiet, no noise. Only a few miles from town. differently recommend this cabin and will try to return again.

Birthday getaway
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful cabin. It was lovely waking up to the view of Mt. LeConte and sipping coffee in the front porch rocking chairs while listening to the surrounding birdsong. We went on several wildflower hikes in the Greenbrier area which was conveniently close. The hot tub and heart shaped jacuzzi were very relaxing. The pool table and arcade games were fun. Christie, the host, was very responsive.

Great stay for a couple!
This cabin was a great place to stay for my husband and I! I would highly recommend it for a couple. Not so much for more than that. There are 3 other cabins in close proximity but it still felt private and was mostly quiet since most people, including ourselves, were gone most of the day. The hot tub and jacuzzi both worked fine. The cabin was clean. Didn’t use anything in the kitchen except for the microwave and refrigerator but it seemed fairly well stocked. The living room furniture isn’t the best but functional. The king bed has a bit of a dip in it. Kinda had to climb up out of bed in the mornings but wouldn’t keep me from staying here again. The loft floors are very creaky and make a lot of noise when you walk around. Bathrooms are small but nice enough. Takes roughly 15-20 minutes to get to Gatlinburg or pigeon Forge from the cabin. There was a ton of traffic the week we were there. Internet in the cabin worked good. Our cell service in the area was basically nonexistent so make sure to have the check in procedures printed out or saved before you arrive. Driveway to get to cabin is a bit steep but the parking is flat. My 2 wheel drive car worked just fine though we had good weather. Views are nice. You won’t regret staying here!

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin. Well stocked kitchen, comfortable bed, nice views. Shower in the downstairs has zero water pressure though, making it unusable as a shower as it just dribbles down. Overall, great stay though!

Cute little cabin up in the woods! This cabin was very nice and not far away from grocery stores or even Pigeon Forge. Definitely recommend if you’re looking to spend a few days with a partner or a friend!

Easy process and great location
Easy access to Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and the National Park. The host/homeowner thoroughly explained everything we needed to know which made for a seamless stay. We weren't at the cabin often but when we were, we enjoyed the video arcade (pac-man), the pool table, hot tub, and the sunrise over the mountain each morning.

Fantastic
Our stay in this cabin was awesome. Everyone especially enjoyed the hot tub. Cabin has plenty of dishes and cookware. Cabin was very clean and everything worked as it was supposed too. The pull out bed in the couch was a little tight to move around but no big deal at bed time. The kids enjoyed the arcade and pool table. The views off the deck were awesome especially after the clouds cleared out. Overall excellent experience.
