"We were looking for a stay around but not in Orange that would allow us to disconnect and enjoy the countryside. Mortimer's checked all the boxes. The loft is perfect for two couples. There are steep stairs so this would not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues. There is a small fridge but no freezer. "The house was great. It had a lot of space and we were very comfortable there. Unfortunately the cleanliness of the property was disappointing. Spiderwebs all over chairs, outside patio floor very dirty, cobwebs all over windows, doorframes and externals walls, and huge spikey weeds (that were as tall as our 5 year old) were all over the garden. This made the property feel unkept and we expected more for the price."
