"Beautiful, clean and spacious property with lovely views of the sea, a private beach, large garden etc. we didn’t use the pool or sauna but they were there. Would have preferred a bigger oven, it’s a microwave/ oven combo, but we managed alright. A lovely spot."

"Mooi huis, mooi uitzicht maar geen zicht op zee zoals vermeld. Ligt haast op de way of Kerry, mooie omgeving. Afgelegen: supermarkt op 20 km en enkel bereikbaar met auto. Bushalte op 2.5km. "

"Tucked away on the sea with a cozy old world atmosphere was the perfect location to celebrate a big birthday and relax. Wonderful views with big windows out and we swam from the back garden at high tide! Kitty was extremely helpful organising a bbq for us and very welcoming. I would highly suggest this house and it's perfect location right in the centre of Beara."

"The cottage is as described. Nice touch is that the family history of the last Irish inhabitant is shown on the wall. Living and kitchen are rather dark. Conservatory is really nice and light. Local roads are narrow and winding so max speed of 80 or 100 km/hr cannot be reached. Hence supermarket (Kenmare) is 45-60 min drive depending on traffic. Supply of towels is rather limited: 1 bath towel per person for a 4 night stay. "

"Alles was prima in orde in het ruime en gezellige huis met een unieke ligging met uitzicht op de Bantry Bay. We verbleven er met acht en er was meer dan voldoende ruimte voor iedereen. De wandelingen over Sheep’s Head waren pittig, maar prachtig. Na iedere beklimming weer een nieuw panorama!"

"We had a wonderful time in Pallas Lodge and were welcomed by our lovely host Pat and beautiful flower arrangements from the garden. The hosts had left everything for a full Irish breakfast for us for the next morning and everything was super clean. Pat shared his time generously to explain everything regarding the house and what to do in the area. The house is much prettier than described in the ad and we had a gorgeous time with amazing views. "We chose this house so we could visit Skellig Island. Sadly, the trip was cancelled due to stormy weather but we didn't mind too much as the house was such a pleasure to hunker down in! We used our downtime to catch up on showers, laundry, rest, and relaxation before resuming our tour around Ireland. It was a lovely house with plenty of room to spread out, watch Banshees of Inisherin, and eat take away from Dooley's in our PJs. "This property was perfect for our family. It was just a 2 min walk from shops, restaurants, and pubs, and located at the end of a culdasack, so it was very quiet. The house was very clean and spacious, and well fitted. Everyone in town were amazingly kind and friendly. We had an amazing time in Sneem and hiking the nearby mountains, conquering Carrountoonhil!!"
