"We had a great time at Redwood River Resort. Everyone was so nice and friendly and the Deer Haven cabin was a delightful place to stay - cozy and comfortable with fun rustic decor and a big comfortable bed. The heater worked great. The food at Harrison's was very enjoyable also. We will stay here again! "

"Fantastic stay! The space was clean and homey. Kitchen had all the basics. The location in the redwoods was beautiful and quiet. Jeffrey was very responsive (amd quick to reply). It was perfect for oir family of 4. It was a quick 10 minute drive into town, and rasy access to the redwood parks. "

"The place had plenty of space. The heaters worked. It is sparse. Bring toilet paper, papers towels, soap, shampoo, hand towels, kitchen towels. Host did provide coffee. The beds were pretty comfortable. It's quiet. "

"A friend and I wanted to relax. This little home was perfect. The walk to the beach (if getting sand in your toes is what you’re after) is relatively short. Nobody was around, though maybe it’s just that time of year. The view of the ocean is completely unobstructed, and the sunsets were beautiful. The house had everything we needed. The kitchen is stocked with all of the normal things you’d expect to see in a kitchen. The beds are comfortable. And it was very quiet. The one thing I did not...

"We enjoyed our stay while visiting Humbolt State. The fire pit outside was perfect for our evenings. "

"The location was good but a number of homeless around. They did not bother you. Need better lighting in the rooms, but the fire stick worked great. It is 100 years old, so comes with the issues associated with that."

"Loved doing yoga on the roof deck in the morning. Insanely comfortable bed. Lovely lovely place. My friend lives .5mile away with her young family so it really was all around a wonderful little vacation. There is a washing machine and dryer! "

"Couldn't be more comfortable and convenient. Well-equipped and well-provisioned, just as described. Loved the mattress and seating, and enjoyed the outdoor space. A grill would have been nice. But we needed the laundry capability more."
