"We celebrated my moms 75th birthday. Her bucket list consisted of seeing Portugal where her family was from. We started our vaca in Madeira at this beautiful home. It was spacious, clean and a perfect place for family to gather. We felt safe and truly enjoyed all the amenities... the work out room, pool table and pool. The host was easy to talk to and very accommodating. Truly appreciate the opportunity to rent your space. I would recommend for sure!"

"Die Wohnung ist ideal für 5 - 6 Personen. Sie ist modern eingerichtet, alles ist vorhanden und der beheizte Pool mit einem schönen Aussenbereich ist ideal zum relaxen. "Ein sehr schönes Haus, sauber und gepflegt. Alles da was man braucht, Grill, gute Küchenausstattung, großer Kühlschrank. Wer sich selbst bekochen will, muss allerdings alles, auch Salz und Pfeffer, vor Ort besorgen. Von allen Zimmern, Küche und Wohnbereich ein toller Blick auf das Meer. Die Autobahn ist zwar in Sichtweite, stört aber nicht wirklich. Die Lage ist zentral, 10 min bis zum Supermarkt und 20 min. bis in die Innenstadt von Funchal. Das Haus hat eine große Garage mit direktem Zugang...

"This is an awesome place. Tons of room and spent half a day in the pool watching planes land at the airport. Glide path is right in front and level with the property but far enough out so little noise. The only drawback of the property is the two barking dogs next door. Took a while getting used to it and no recourse to ask the owners to quiet them. I have owned dogs my whole life so it’s easy to do but the neighbors just let them go. Small thing really but be prepared for it. Other than that...

"Wir haben zwei Wochen in dieser wunderschönen Villa verbracht. Der Kontakt zu Olga und Alexander war von Anfang sehr nett und völlig unkompliziert. In der Villa fehlt es einfach an nichts. Zur Begrüßung stand ein großer Obstkorb auf dem Tresen. Außerdem gab es so viele Annehmlichkeiten: Kaffee, Duschbad, Mülltüten, Toilettenpapier und Geschirrtabs waren ausreichend vorhanden! Alles ist hochwertig und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Der Pool und die Aussicht werden uns lange in Erinnerung...

"The home is high on a hill, modern and very clean. The pool is wonderful and a perfect temperature. We stayed for 1 month. Beatrice met us at the house and responded to our questions quickly. The cleaning crew came in once a week which was fantastic We were not prepared for how steep and narrow the roads were in our area, but it appears to be the norm. My husband eventually became an expert driver. Madeira is a wonderful place to visit. We are happy we chose An Island Apart. "

"The accommodation in Ville Dilis was very pleasant and you can find everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Beautiful views of the ocean, the pool, the equipment of the house...we were very satisfied. The communication with the landlady Vanda was also great."
